I literally cant describe how much I want to be back there. After that conference and that action, coming back to normal everyday life seems.....very unfulfilling. All I want to be doing is fighting for these animals, making waves in the industries, attending actions and protests, it's the only thing that's on my mind now and life just seems to be getting in the way of that lol. I mean, we have some cubes planned, and some vigils coming up but it still seems like it's not enough and I still know that I have to spend the majority of my time doing life things in order to pay the bills, and that's actually really depressing, how can one survive on activism alone, that's now the dream...I just have to figure out how that is attainable. If yall got some ideas, I need them lol.

Here is a food post. After all the activism I have been doing lately, all I want to do is post about it, so it's getting really hard to post a food photo every 3rd photo in order to keep the aesthetic of my profile consistent. Its killing me inside Haha, so here you go, food... I will admit tho, this Greek salad from is bomb a.f so go and eat it, put it in your face and enjoy because now it's time to continue posting about activism.

Our photos from he duck farm & slaughterhouse lockdown are now up on Facebook. This is one of the most impactful and emotional actions I have ever been a part of and had the opportunity to photograph. I am honored to have been a part of this moment in history and to capture it forever. 31 lives were liberated that day when activists bravery put their lives on the line, I wish we could say the same for the countless other lives that had to be left inside. Hopefully one day in the future that won't be the case. Take a look through the album (link in my bio) and watch this story unfold.

Now that this last week has completed, it is incredibly hard to get back to everyday life. To fly back home and immediately wake up the next day and start working again. All I can think about is this action and the victims who are involved. Not the activists, not the farm, the real victims, the thousands, if not millions of birds left behind at that facility only to be slaughtered without mercy. I can still hear the songs and chants in my head every minute of every day and I cant help but think "am I doing enough for the animals, what more can I do" I honestly just wish I could travel around full time and attend actions like this and really be a powerful voice for the voiceless. The action held on Monday June 3rd 2019 was one of the most powerful and impactful things I have ever been a part of and it has lit a fire under my ass like nothing before.
*
These ducks spend their entire lives on cement floors, no water to float in. This is incredibly unnatural for these animals as their legs were never designed to hold the weight of their bodies, they are essentially like a fish out of water. They end up dying on their backs with sores and lacerations, writhing in pain and agony because we have taken all their natural tendencies away from them, just to hang them by their feet and slit their necks because some people like the taste of duck.
*
We were there on Monday to challenge the laws that govern these establishments, to show the world the truth behind those slaughterhouse walls and to enact change that will allow us the right to rescue these sick, injured and dying babies, just like we could rescue a dog in a hot car. But currently, if we try, we are the ones arrested, we are the "enemies" and that is why we must keep this fight going and never stop until we come out on top. If those were dogs in there, what would you do? Would you pick up the fight with us, or would you sit back and turn a blind eye to yelping and crying of millions of puppies? These "farmed animals" are no different, the only difference is your perception. If you would like to watch the action unfold, head over to my highlights and watch ALC Action and then ALC Action 2 @ Petaluma, California

I cant even describe this moment. The moment we broke through the police line that had barricaded our bus. We had just traveled 45 minutes to Petaluma in a convoy of aprox 12 full charter buses, we had police cruisers and choppers chasing and circling us. We had gotten with 4km of the slaughterhouse and we had just gotten word that there was an advanced team of activists already inside the facility. This team locked their necks ro the assembly line with bike locks to stop the production. However the owners turned the machines back on and nearly ripped the head off one of our activists. (I will post that video a little later. Due to these heros, the 2nd inside team managed to save 31 babies from a life of hell and misery, giving them a second chance that they otherwise would never have had.
Just as fast as our excitement arose, it was quickly crushed as 4 or so police cruisers barreled past us and blocked the public road from our buses going any further. We had come to a standstill. As the bus parked every one of us disembarked flowers in hand and song in our voices, we charged on foot towards the police who were unrolling the yellow tape, Haha thinking this was going to stop us, and for a moment, it did.
We then had a decision to make. To risk our own freedom and arrest to make it to our team on the other side & to stand together with them in support for the animals and our other activists. What happened next I dont really know. All of a sudden 15 of were charging through the police line, alI heard was "EVERY ONE OF YOU IS GOING TO BE ARRESTED". But that is nothing compared to what the animals are going through, they needed us, so we charged forward without hesitation. 2 miles later, we made it to our team, we got word the other 200 or so activists stopped at the line had also broken through and were on their way to us.
Never in my life have I felt so much emotion in my life as I did when we reached those activists chained to the fence, holding the bodies of past lives. Pride for what we were doing, power that we were getting this message out, sadness for the immense loss of life that was happening and grief for the lifeless bodies in front of me.

This is . If Jenny don't know who she is, Jenny McQueen's Powerful speak out during the 2019 Animal Liberation March through the streets of San Francisco California during the Animal Liberation conference. In December of 2016, Jenny entered into an Adare Pork facility near Lucan, just northwest of London Ontario. She saw what she described as literally hell on earth, after entering the animal harming facility, she continued to take photos of the injured and suffering mothers and babies she saw, babies still bloody from afterbirth, pr*****ed rectums, unimaginable pain and suffering that you would not wish upon your worst enemy. some of the photos identifying herself. "everything I do, I do with an open face" she says. That's the halmark of an open rescue. She used those photos as the basis of a complaint to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). But nothing happened, as we know these institutions really only have the best interests of the farms in mind, not the animals, this has been very apparent to us in in the recent months. Her and a few other friends returned a few more times to the facility and rescued 2 pigs, saving their lives from the hell they were living in.
Early in the morning of Oct. 4, police armed with a search warrant raided her Toronto home. She was handcuffed and charged with break-and-enter as well as mischief to property worth more than $5,000. Jenny was facing 10 years in jail, for saving the lives of two dying souls. However in May of this year, the courts withdrew all charges against her and she has now been cleared. That has only lit a larger fire under her and she is now back out there again inspiring millions of people. It was truly an honor to meet her! Head over to my IGTV to watch her full speak out (link in bio)!!!
