There’s a lot of new data from trials looking at the effects of GLP-1 drugs after breast cancer.

REMEMBER that these drugs were given to women who were diabetic or obese

We do NOT recommend women and men who are a healthy weight start taking them.

Exercise can have a bigger impact on your risk of recurrence and it isn’t going to cost you £££££ for the rest of your life.

I am ANGRY!!

A US doctor said that despite the billions poured into breast cancer research, death rates haven’t changed in the last 25 years. And she blamed that partly on overdiagnosis from mammograms to push her own alternative breast imaging (she also sells parasite cleanses)

This is the truth
Breast cancer death rates haven’t changed in 25 years (she got that right)
BUT the number of women diagnosed has nearly DOUBLED in the US, from 182k women in 2000 to 322k in 2025.

That means 142k women’s lives have been saved!!

There are so many new treatments - herceptin, phesgo, perjeta, enhertu, the CDK inhibitors that I did my PhD in

And while mammograms do overdiagnose breast cancer - by detecting small cancers in older women that would never be a risk to life, they account for 7% of all breast cancers diagnosed. They’re not the reason
