e an offer. Toast Toppers was a third generation, family owned business, that made jam from fruits we grew ourselves or picked from local, organic practicing farms at the peak of ripeness. All Toast Toppers jam had NO ADDED SUGAR, chemicals, or artificial ingredients. Over the years Toast Toppers has had more than 25 flavors including specialty, limited edition, and seasonal flavors. A few notes regarding Toast Toppers:
Toast Toppers offers both singular and blended fruit flavors. Blends of two fruits are carefully done so that each fruit flavor can be tasted. Much like a fine glass of wine, you will be able to detect one fruit, then the second, then a lovely finish of the two combined. Unopened, Toast Toppers jam will keep for 1-2 years in a cool, dark space. Once opened, please keep refrigerated at all times. The optimal period for eating, once opened, is 6-8 weeks. Spoon the jam into an ice cube tray and freeze. Once frozen, pop out cubes and place in a freezer safe container. Because Toast Toppers does not add water, chemicals, and sugar, the jam will not liquefy once thawed, but remain the same consistency as before it was frozen. While we do not use any nuts, dairy or gluten products in our jam, these jams are canned in a commercial kitchen that may also process these ingredients. Sometimes, some Toast Toppers flavors of jam (primarily the rhubarb blends) need a little bit of sweetening to be more enjoyable. To accomplish this, the ONLY sweetener Toast Toppers ever uses is a trace amount of an organic stevia that we grow. This is not like the stevia you can buy in stores! There is no aftertaste and does not change the flavor of the fruit. There are so many uses for Toast Toppers that go well beyond toast! Toast Toppers has set up displays with free samples at many different types of Arts and Crafts, Festivals, Farmer's Markets, and other types of shows throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
