小林健の滞在10-11月で多くの皆様と各地でお会いすることができました。ありがとうございました。
お忙しい中、お時間を作っていただきわざわざ遠方より会いに来てくださったこと、そして大事な時間をシェアできたことは、やはり対面で会い波動を交換することの素晴らしさを実感できた貴重な滞在でした。本当にありがとうございました。

Mornings and evenings have grown noticeably colder, the wind feels chilly on the skin, and the green of the trees has begun turning red and yellow. This weekend, our volunteer group gathered in the Catskills to prepare the 108 steps—the symbol of Honzo Haven—for winter. The Catskills were in full, vibrant autumn color, a truly magnificent sight.

We started by cleaning the stairs. Leaves were stuck in the gaps, so we used small branches to dislodge them. While doing so, we discovered tiny mushroom-like things growing right in those gaps! Finding them in such an unexpected place amazed us with nature's power. While dusting the stair railings, a little yellow ladybug perched there, seemingly basking in the sun. Then, suddenly, a red ladybug landed on my clothes! I wondered if it was cheering me on~ It gave me a moment of joy!

Amidst the sounds of birds and insects, the scent of nature, the fresh air, and the grandeur of the natural world, working mindfully felt like moving meditation! I want to cherish nature, which always gives me irreplaceable insights and healing, and consciously strive to maintain my connection with it every day.

To protect the stair railings, we carefully cover them with plastic wrap and other materials. After covering the stairs, we place heavy stones as weights on top to keep the covers from blowing away. With the stair and railing covers safely in place, we're fully prepared for winter! We sincerely thank everyone who supports Honzo Haven's activities.

朝晩もぐっと冷え込むようになり、吹く風が肌寒く、木々の緑も赤く、黄色く色づき始めました。この週末にボランティアグループでHonzo Havenの象徴である108階段の冬支度のためにキャッツキルに集まりました。キャッツキルでは、彩り豊かな紅葉真っ盛りで見事な美しい光景でした。

階段のお掃除に始まり、階段の隙間に葉っぱが挟まってしまっているので、小枝で葉っぱを落としていくのですが、その隙間から、小さいきのこのようなものが生えているのを発見！思いがけない場所にあったので、自然のパワーに驚きです。階段の手すりを乾拭きしていると、黄色いてんとう虫がちょこんととまっていて、日向ぼっこをしているようでした。今度は、ふと気づくと赤いてんとう虫が洋服にとまったりして、応援してくれているのかなぁ〜と思い、束の間、楽しませてくれました！

鳥や虫の声、自然の香り、美味しい空気、壮大な自然に触れながら、無心になって作業をしていると、動く瞑想をしているようです！いつもかけがえのない気づきや癒しを与えてくれる自然を大切に、常日頃、自然との繋がりを意識するよう心がけていきたいと思います。

階段の手すりは、保護するために、ラップなどで入念にカバーをします。階段にカバーをかけた後は、カバーが飛ばされないように重石を置きます。無事に階段と手すりのカバーかけが終わり、冬に向けて準備万端です！

☆We are looking for volunteers to work with beautiful nature!☆
Volunteer activities took place in mid-September. In the Catskills, the leaves had begun turning yellow, fully embracing autumn's beauty. We were blessed with perfect weather—not too hot—making it an ideal day for work.
This time, we began preparations to create a pond at the base of the 108 Steps. Weeding, digging, and excavating the soil revealed numerous large stones along the way. Digging out these big rocks proved an incredibly difficult task. Despite using unfamiliar tools, the indescribable joy when we all worked together to dig out those large, heavy stones was incredible!
After finishing the main work, we heard a faint, delicate cry. Looking around carefully, we spotted a baby mole scurrying back and forth around one of the stones we'd dug up. A baby mole's body was incredibly tiny, but it moved energetically, a truly adorable sight.
A pleasant breeze would occasionally blow, causing the yellowed leaves to dance in the air—an indescribably beautiful sight.We want to continue our activities energetically, cherishing this magnificent nature!

9月中旬にボランティア活動が行われました。キャッツキルでは、葉っぱの色が黄色く紅葉し始めて、すっかり秋模様となりとても綺麗でした。天候に恵まれ、暑すぎず、作業をするのに最適な日となりました。今回は、108階段のふもとに池を作る準備を始めました。草むしり、土掘り、土を掘っていく過程で沢山の大きな石が出没し、大きな石を掘り出す作業が至難の技です。慣れない道具を使いながらも、みんなと力をあわせて大きな重い石を掘り出せた時は、なんとも言えない喜びでした！
一通りの作業が終り、か弱い鳴き声が聞こえ、辺りをよく見渡すと、モグラの赤ちゃんが掘り出した石の周りを行ったりきたりしていました。とびきり小さい体でしたが、元気よく動き、なんとも可愛い姿でした。
時折、心地よい風が吹き、黄色く色づいた葉っぱが舞い踊り、なんとも言えない美しい光景でした。雄大な自然を大切に、これからも元気に活動を続けていきたいと思います！
