We started (what I hope will become) a new tradition today! I made a Christmas snack tray, we laid it out on a picnic blanket in the living room and we watched a Christmas movie together in our pj’s. We watched Elf this year! What are some of your family Christmas traditions?

Every time I’m out with the kids now I get these comments like, “super mom!” or “wow, four!” or “you have your hands full!”. It’s like I’m in a different classification of mother. It doesn’t feel that way, though. It feels the same, just slightly more complicated with more multitasking and adapting to behaviors of four instead of three. And by no means do I feel like super mom. I know people say it as a compliment. I’ve said it before to my friends. But, I’m just doing my best to raise these four pumpkins.

I wanted to officially introduce you to Hugh Mathison Edwards. He was born quickly on Thursday, 9/12. It has been a whirl wind of health and emotions since his birth. He is still in the NICU but has made great progress today (Sunday, 9/15). I’ve done daily Hugh updates on the story highlights and will continue to do so there (see Baby Updates in profile). Thank you for all of your well wishes and love! Today was a good day. First time holding him since just giving birth!

We started school for 2019-2020 in June. We’re doing year round homeschool this year and all is well so far! This is Hayden’s first year of school and he’s done a great job so far! Liam is also rocking the increased workload. Blaire is along for the ride and learns alongside them! @ Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

Nearly 27 weeks pregnant bump. My goal for the next 13 weeks is to stay cool in the Charleston summer, put my feet up as much as having three children will allow and soak up all the one-on-one time with each of my people as I can. So excited to meet this baby!

These aren’t the prettiest cherry blossoms we’ve seen in Washington, D.C., but they sure were the tastiest and close second! The best part about donuts was getting to spend time with !

I’m taking extra time to slow down this week and enjoy each of these three little people. Time is flying toward baby #4’s arrival and I want to soak up as much of them as possible. Gosh, how is it possible to love these little ones so much, even though they exhaust and frustrate you half the time?!
