In just one year my entire world has flipped upside down. Never would I have imagined I’d be married and having a baby and in just a few short weeks the entire world has flipped upside down into a global pandemic.
I am frightened at the circumstances going around the world and scared for the safety of many of us including , , and all of my type 1 diabetic friends and those with compromised immune systems. As someone who is expecting to delivery during the height of the virus I am scared for my self and my baby that there will not be the medical attention needed to keep us both safe.
It’s important to remember that although many of us will not show symptoms or have severe illness, most of us will be carriers. We will carry the virus and infect our love ones whose immune systems aren’t able to tolerate the virus.
Please keep your distance, keep your hands away from your face, wash with soap and water, avoid contact with those facing immune deficiencies, share your resources with those in need, and above all try to delay the drastic spread of illness. @ Noosa Heads, Queensland

In 2015 I moved to NYC having never really spent anytime here, with no expectations except that I wanted to “explore my creativity.” .
I studied Chemistry and classics at university and decided maybe med school wasn’t for me, I wanted to help people feel well, but I loved being creatively stimulated. I always loved design, aesthetics, color, and creating art. I moved to NYC to work in fashion where my creativity was stifled, my intelligence was undermined, and I had no intrinsic fulfillment. Through the contrast of having no purpose in my everyday work I started the blog AriLife based off of little everyday hacks and skincare tips that I had been doing for years because I wanted to inspire women that wellness could be beautiful. .
I come from a long line of hippies and frankly holistic wellness always looked a bit haggard and disorganized and a large deterrent for most. What if conscious living could be beautiful and well could be the new cool? I started with an intention: “I want to empower women through wellbeing.” Today, I still base all of my work, projects, companies I advocate for, dollars I spend, and my everyday life on that same intention. Find your intention and curate your life with meaning. You are the guiding light in everything that exists around you. .
Remember knowing what you don’t want to do is just as valuable as knowing what you do want to do.
