HOW I relax

My relaxation method is of course yoga.
yoga is not only taking asana (pose) on the mat.

Yoga can be integrated into breathing exercises, meditation, mindfulness, and life itself.
In fact, it would not be an overstatement to say that yoga is a way of life itself.

Therefore, anyone can do yoga.
On a mat, in bed, in a wheelchair.
In the bathroom (in fact, I like to meditate in the bathroom‼).

Yoga 4 You is of course Yoga 4 me.

I’m Yoko, Mrs. Pan Pacific International 2022.
today, I’m happy to introduce my hometown to you.

I was born and raised in Japan.
My home town is Iwate.

Located in the north of Japan, it is a region rich in nature and beautiful in both sea and mountains.

One of the famous traditional crafts in Iwate is "Nambu Tekki".

Teapots made of iron are very popular in Europe.

In addition to its region rich in nature, the region has recently become more international.
Harrow International School, a British boarding school from which former Prime Minister Churchill graduated, was established last year.

”no side" party
The final stage in Japan was held on April 30th.
Time flies.　Feels like it was only yesterday.

Last night there was a "no side" party to praise each other's efforts.

Thank you so much to the staff, official partners who supported the finalists,
to the teachers who gave many lectures.

To my family- family means everything to me.
To my "family-the finalists class of 2022-" I wouldn't have been able to do it without you.

and I'd like to say a big thank you to Sakurako san, Takashi san.
Thank you so much for giving me such a great opportunity to grow up.

I'm enjoying my journey to find my wellness (sometimes struggling with tears!!) through my platform "YOGA 4 YOU".
I'm sure this is one of the biggest shining memories of my life.

医師である自分や母である自分が「自分」で、これは自分じゃないような、こんな忙しい中でなぜ更に挑戦しているのかな、と自分でも分かりませんでした。
でもやっと気づきました。
我が家の個性豊かな子供たちと向き合いながら、私は色んな顔を持つことで自分のバランスをとっている。

【YOGA 4 YOU】

Gave a yoga class for an expecting mother.

My yoga style is called “accessible yoga”

Accessible yoga is for the people who can’t visit yoga studios for some reasons.

I run MEDCAREYOGA with my husband Dr. Teruki Nakano and provide accessible yoga class who currently are unable to experience yoga due to a variety of factors, such as loneliness, social isolation, and lack of local adequate services, regardless of their ability status, differing levels of physical ability, and social circumstances, based on the idea “to make yoga more accessible “.

I'm really honored to be chosen as Mrs. Pan Pacific international 2022.
the world final stage will be held in the US in July.
I'm happy to spread my mission "make wellness accessible to everyone through yoga" to the world.

ミセスインターナショナルの日本大会を終えて色んな気持ちがあり、
なかなかご報告できずにいました。

このたび、Mrs. Pan Pacific international代表に選出いただきました。
嬉しさと共にクラウンの重みにプレッシャーも感じています。

また、ブリリアントスター賞という光栄な賞も受賞させていただきました。
さまありがとうございます。

そして、コンテストという形上、結果として順位がつくことになり。
今まで一緒に頑張ってきたファイナリストの皆さんも喜びの受賞もあれば
前を向くのに時間がかかった方もいらっしゃったはず。

みんな同じく努力してきた中で、その中で私がグランプリ頂いた意味ってなんだろう、
嬉しさもあり、重圧もあり、みんなの想いも痛いほど感じていて、
mixing feelingでした。

そんなことを考えて仕事と子供のことで文字通り怒涛の日々で気づいたら2週間近く経ってしまいました。

去年から続いた挑戦。
わがまま通させてくれた家族に感謝。
何度も心折れかけた時に支え合ってくれた仲間に感謝。
ステージの上に立たせていただいたことに感謝。
関わってくださった方すべてに感謝しています。

今でも、私が選ばれた意味とは何だろう、と思いながら毎日過ごしています。

一つだけ言えることは、
私には世界に発信したい、
発信せねばならないmissionがあります。
すべての人にウェルネスを。
それを伝えたい、という想いで今回applyしました。

そのpassionだけは誰にも負けない。

上田美江子先生
からは
あなたは妻で母で、医師だけど、
ステージの上では女優
その気持ちで歩きなさい
と教えていただきました。

麻酔科医も、美容皮膚科医も、実は共通点があって
外科医を支える
誰かの美しさを作る手助けをする
という裏方的な役割が強いです。

私は誰かを助ける、支える、という事が生来好きなんだと思います。
気づいたらそこに戻っている。

その自分が大好きです。
でもパンパシフィック代表という、
自分にスポットライトを当てていただくと言う機会をいただいたのにも
人生における意味があると思っています。

またこの1年たくさん学ばせていただき
それを社会に還元していきたいと思います。

言葉にするのは難しいですが、
支えてくださった皆さまに感謝しています。
たくさん、ありがとうございますとお伝えしたいです。

【Mrs. Pan Pacific Grand Prix】

4/30に行われた、ミセスインターナショナル&ミズファビュラス2022 日本大会。

Mrs. Pan Pacific に選出いただきました。
翌日から仕事に戻り、
この大会に思うこと沢山あって、ゆっくり考えを整理してから、、、
と思っているうちに時間が経ってしまい、ご報告遅くなって申し訳ありませんでした。

お礼の気持ちはゆっくりとまた投稿させていただければと思います。

4月に入ってからのわたしのメンタルを立て直してくださった由希野さん .i_official からのクラウニングは本当に本当に涙が出るほど嬉しかった。
これもまた別投稿で熱い想いを。笑
