We’re so incredibly proud to share some very special Flourish news…

Our Founder and Director, Kate, has been officially announced as a finalist for the Merseyside Woman of the Year award 2026 🎉🍾 woohoo!

This feels extra special as Kate has been nominated and judged by a rigorous panel and shortlisted from over 100 incredible women across Merseyside!🖤

Kate was nominated in recognition of the incredible impact she has made through Flourish Tutoring and Flourish Alternative Provision - while also balancing mum life and everything in between!! Quite honestly - we don’t know how she does it!!🖤

For those of you that know Kate or have had the pleasure of chatting with her… you’ll know she LOVES to talk 😂 but more importantly she loves to talk about her passion - which is helping every child to Flourish. Her students’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything she does at Flourish and that’s why we think Kate thoroughly deserves your vote as Merseyside Woman of the Year!!

With GCSEs just around the corner, we’re so happy to share our GCSE Maths and English Language Revision Sessions ⭐️🖤

As some exams will have already taken place by the half term, these sessions are designed to support Maths paper 2 & 3 revision and English Language paper 2 🙌🏻

We can’t recommend these sessions highly enough to gain that all important final prep 🙌🏻

Sessions are 90mins and cost just £35.

🖤💫 ST ANSELM’S & UPTON HALL EXAM SKILLS SESSIONS🖤

We’re so excited to share our timetable for the St Anselm’s and Upton Hall sessions that will be running over May Half Term! 🙌🏻🗝️

We’ve restructured the way we’re running these sessions, to make sure our students get the very best out of every session.

Each hour-long session will focus on ONE of the entrance exam skills, so you can book 1, 2 or all 3 sessions for the same morning:

⭐️9am Reading Comprehension
⭐️10am SPaG
⭐️11am Creative Writing

Although there isn’t a ‘Creative Writing’ paper in the Upton Hall exam, students are still welcome to attend and benefit from this writing session!

Similarly, whilst there isn’t a specific ‘SPaG’ paper in the St Anselm’s exam, students will greatly benefit from attending this session, as they will be required to use ambitious vocabulary and varied punctuation within their writing task, in addition to demonstrating a good grasp of grammatical features in answering comprehension questions.

Sessions will be running from all of our Flourish sites: Heswall, Wallasey and Bromborough.

Each session is 1 hour long.
The cost for 1 session is £20, or £35 for 2 sessions or £50 for all 3 sessions.

⭐️🗝️QUEST 11+ Workshops at Flourish🗝️ ⭐️

We’re so excited to share our timetable for the Quest 11+ Workshops that will be running over the May Half Term break! 🙌🏻🗝️

These sessions will focus on the new QUEST question types and any variations of the GL questions.⭐️

We strongly recommend that your child attends these workshops to make sure they are confident in applying the skills taught, to tackle any new question types.

We will be running the VR, NVR and Maths workshops in back to back sessions, so you can book 1, 2 or all 3 of these workshops (3 hours) for the same morning.
Available at all Flourish sites: Heswall, Wallasey and Bromborough.

⭐️9am Verbal Reasoning
⭐️10am Non-Verbal Reasoning
⭐️11am Maths

Each session is 1 hour long.
The cost for 1 session is £20, or £35 for 2 sessions or £50 for all 3 sessions.🙌🏻

⭐️⭐️UPDATED 11+ Mock Exam NEWS⭐️⭐️

We’re so happy to share that our revised 11+ Mock Exams are fully compliant with the new QUEST curriculum, including the exam format and structure.🙌🏻🗝️

We understand that many parents will have been feeling anxious since the announcement about the change in exam provider last week.
So, we want to take to opportunity to reassure you that we’ve been in close communication with Quest to analyse the new format (including all question types) and have modified our Flourish 11+ mocks to closely reflect the Quest exams.💫

So you can relax in the knowledge that we’re absolutely on it… and we know our students will be able to head into the 11+ exam in September feeling confident and ready to smash it! 🖤⭐️🙌🏻
