Today I got the news from my Leukemia specialist, I’m UNDETECTABLE!!! ☺️🥹🥳 Now that can always change BUT this is the first time in 4 years since my diagnosis so, I’m celebrating!!! Looking at what’s changed since my last test 3 months ago…your girl has put in work!! I’ve taken time off of work and altered my schedule, I’ve focused on my friendships, I’ve set hard boundaries or blocked people who don’t make me feel my best, I’m speaking my truth and holding people accountable for their words and actions, I’ve started up hobbies I used to enjoy including scuba diving and vocal lessons, I’m spending more time with my hunny and family members who bring me joy, I found a new therapist, I’ve lost weight, Im focused on my sleeping schedule, and as long as there isn’t another pandemic, I’m hitting the road for another epic adventure next fall.
So, I’M FILLING UP MY CUP. Cheers☺️

Pools, paddle boards, salt cave, day retreats, and more! I have all sorts of options for your self-care journey this month! AND Starting June 10, you can join me for morning meditations every Wednesday at in grayslake! This is a donation-based and beginner friendly intro into meditation. Everyone is welcome! If you’re free Sunday June 28, swing by the Mind and Body day retreat at The Shores at Turtle Creek and enjoy all the wellness vendors and classes including yoga with and a soundbath by myself to end the day. We enjoyed 90 minutes of calm, bliss, and relaxation in the salt cave last night. I had only 1 new participant out of 15. Everyone else has practiced and attending with me before. I thank you all so much for trusting me and continuing your practice with me. Keep showing up for yourself. keep filling up your cup and keep practicing mindfulness. May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you be peaceful, may you be love. I’ll see you next month 🫶🏽

We are excited to be offering our first retreat centered around the power of intentional silence. This powerful experience has been structured to help you develop your self awareness, intentionality, and mindful practices. The silence will be preceded and punctuated with healing sound experiences designed to help you to deepen and maintain your focus throughout the day. This will be an extremely potent combination and will be an occasion to catalyze change, or strengthen stability.

What You’ll Experience

Gentle yoga to calm and prepare the body

Opening sound journey with guided meditation to gently place us into our silence

Silent meditation time, self led with opportunity to explore grounds

Horse grooming

Animal interaction

Journaling

Firepit for reflection

2 - 1 hour Immersive sound bath journeys will punctuate the silent time, opportunities to deepen or revise our focus

Meals and refreshments provided

Group discussion to integrate our experiences

Optional community dinner, bonfire, and pool time following silence to decompress and regroup

About the Event:

🌾Grooming and Equine Meditation along with a healing Sound Bath.

Begin the afternoon by gathering with the herd for a grounding meditation and hands-on time to groom and connect with your horse. Read, journal and connect with the animals for an hour of nature time. Then, relax and unwind with Brittney’s one-hour sound bath in the cozy bunkhouse, followed by time to stroll the farm, journal, and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

Light refreshments will be available throughout the day.

📣To all Condell hospital employees!!!! Incase you didn’t know, next Thursday May 21st, Condell is hosting the “Condell Kind fair” to offer all their employees some much needed wellness opportunities. This fair will have multiple vendors and mini break out sessions to give you a mental pause and focus on self-care. I’ll be providing mini sound bath meditations in the solarium from 11-1pm. I will also be raffling off spaces to my upcoming salt cave sound bath and floating sound bath events. Grab your coworkers and swing by for some zen.
