Listen to your Pilates teacher encourages you off your mat or Reformer…

They’re not telling you to do less Pilates (never!)

Just encouraging you to build a body that’s strong, fit, balanced and ready for whatever life brings

Keep doing your Pilates (of course!)

Add some strength training

Move your heart and lungs

Challenge your balance

Try This 🩷

If you’re neck is feeling stiff & achy it’s not always your neck that’s the problem… it’s often your mid-back 👀

Our middle back (thoracic spine) is designed to move, to rotate, extend, & flex & side bend 👍🏼

But when it gets stiff from daily life (sitting, scrolling etc) neck muscles can be affected as well 🙈
So they end up overworking, gripping, and feeling tight 🙄

Try this move to help up your mid-back & your neck and shoulders often finally get to relax ☺️

Thread the needle 🪡
Finger tips at temple & open to one side, breathe, rotate the opposite way the bring your elbow to the opposite inner elbow, breathe & repeat 5 times on each side 😍
