बिहार की सियासत का रंग बड़ा निराला है,
हर कोई खुद को नेता, बाकी को गुज़ारा है।
वोट मांगते हैं विकास के नाम पे यहाँ,
और बनते ही मंत्री, भूल जाते हैं रास्ता कहाँ।

कभी लालटेन चमकी, कभी तीर चला,
कभी हाथी नचा, तो कभी कमल खिला।
पर जनता की हालत वहीं की वहीं,
सपने अधूरे, सड़के भी नहीं।

नेता बदलते हैं, चेहरे नए आते हैं,
वादे वही पुराने, जो हर बार दोहराए जाते हैं।
पर उम्मीद अब भी ज़िंदा है दिलों में कहीं,
कि शायद अगली सुबह, नई रौशनी लाए यहीं।
