New handle, same mission, same me. 👋 Hi, I’m Erin Erenberg — co-founder and CEO of , full-time advocate for moms, and proud mother of three.
If you’re new here — or if we haven’t connected yet — welcome. This is where I share a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to fight for mothers every day: in the halls of Congress, in policy meetings, and in the quiet moments that remind me why this work matters so much.

You’ll find my takes on policy and advocacy, updates from D.C., stories from real moms, and the unfiltered truth about what it’s like to push for change and unity in a system that too often divides us.

If you’re a mom, a policymaker, an ally — or someone who simply cares about families — I’m so glad you’re here. Drop a comment and introduce yourself. I’d love to know who you are and why this work matters to you.

Heard this quote on and it stopped me in my tracks.

Right now, it’s female friendships.

I have shifted most of my work hours to fighting for more support for mothers from our government with and engaging in conversations that encourage women to live whole lives. And in this work, I am both hopeful and tired. I realize every hour that we as moms are not supported as we should be.

And when I really ask myself how I keep going: it’s my girls. I wouldn’t be ok without trusted friends who help me hold and process and feel it all.

How about you? What supports you even as you walk through your day without the support you deserve?

Back to School Type 1 Diabetes edition. Look at all these needles and drugs and devices one child needs on hand at school to stay alive. Just look at it. I can’t believe it, either.

Of all the things I worried about when I had our first baby - making sure I fed him enough and the right things, making sure he got enough sleep, to use Tylenol or not, is he water safe, what is this virus, is he walking/talking/potty trained on time, could he choke, and on and on — I never ever once thought our child would one day develop Type 1 Diabetes. Please, I barely knew what Type 1 or any other kind of diabetes meant.

And one day in May of 2020, I learned. That a viral or environmental event had caused my child’s immune system to attack every cell in his pancreas that makes insulin. A hormone we all need to survive. A hormone needed not just for food — a hormone that’s involved in regulating over 42 factors that impact blood sugar. My child no longer has this hormone and would not survive without receiving insulin through shots or a medical device, many many times daily.

Sure it sucks, I really sucks, when people think my child has this disease because of food or lifestyle choices. Nothing to do with diet or exercise caused this, and no adjustment in those factors can cure it.

My son George, and our whole family, are part of a club we’d never choose into. One of disability. One of limits.

And yes I am so grateful we can treat him with drugs and devices. That he can study and play sports and in theory do everything he would otherwise do, maybe even with more strength and maturity.

But this I also want to keep it real. This disease stinks. There is no cure. Pediatric trials have largely dried up as medical devices sales have sky rocketed.

If you know someone who has or cares for someone with Type 1, please know there is so much more to it than they show you. They are carrying a mental, emotional, and physical load they wouldn’t wish on anyone.

And I beg of anyone in a position to make change: insist on a biological cure. Kids deserve to live carefree lives. And wearing two medical devices + a smartphone isn’t the answer.

I’ve been asked a few times how I feel about the Ballerina Farm interview. It’s not my, or anyone else’s job, to judge Hannah Neeleman or anyone else. But what I think is missing from this conversation is the impact that “influence” has on mothers who only see one piece of a story. And because I have not seen this said quite clearly elsewhere, I thought I’d share what concerns me.

In 2022, I shifted from focusing on Totum, which is a community to help mothers live whole lives, to focusing on — when I realized that most American mothers cannot choose into wholeness. Most American mothers are struggling to pay for their lives.

So now most of my time goes to advocating for paid family and medical leave, affordable childcare, and improved maternal health. My hope is that all of us who live in abundance will pay close attention to the truth: that most mothers are struggling.

Escape is a function of this app and all social media, but we need to also look at reality and so what we can to make this a country where all mothers are thriving.

We love this beautifully honest post from :
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Who am I?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m lost
I’m confused
I’m anew
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With each child, with every birth, I’ve been reborn, I’ve become anew. I’m no longer the person I was before.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With that comes confusion, a mourning of who I was and questions of who I am now.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Although, I don’t have those answers quite yet, I already know that this version of myself is my best one yet.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Anyone else feel/have felt like this? How did you find yourself?
