With the holidays upon us, and decorating ideas floating around, here's a fun DIY to try with the family: Clay Diffuser Ornaments!

You can decorate your home, or give them as gifts. Handmade gifts are so fun to give and receive. 🎁

Whats also great about this recipe is you probably already have everything you'll need at home.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup baking soda
• ½ cup cornstarch
• ½ cup water
• Cookie mold, toothpick, rolling pin, or similar tools (optional)
• Ribbon or string
• Kid Safe Essential Oils

Directions:
1. Place baking soda, cornstarch, and water in a pan and heat over medium heat while continuously stirring.

2. Continue stirring while on the heat until the mixture becomes thick and can form a ball.

3. Allow the dough to cool in the pan until it’s safe to handle but still warm.

4. Remove dough from the pan and wrap it in a damp cloth and allow it to cool.

5. Roll out the dough. Cut and mold into your desired shapes. Use a toothpick (or similar item) to create a small hole for hanging.

6. Allow the dough to totally dry. Dry time will depend on the size and thickness of your ornament; expect at least 24 hours. If the dough dries too quickly, it will crack. If you are in a hot and dry climate, place a damp cloth over your creations to slow down the drying time.

7. Once the dough is dry, feel free to embellish your ornament with paint, stamps, or other materials. Add essential oils; allow them to absorb into the clay then tie a string through the hole and hang where desired. Essential oils may disrupt paint and discolor the clay, so plan your decorations accordingly.

Tip: You can use this dough with molds. Line the mold with fractionated coconut oil then allow the clay to totally dry inside the mold before removing.

🎃 Pumpkin Spice Latte ☕️

3 drops of Coffee Essential Oil
2 drops of Cardamom Essential Oil
1 drop of Clove Essential Oil
1 drop of Ginger Essential Oil
1 drop of Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil

Add essential oils to a diffuser according to the diffuser's instructions, and diffuse in an open room.
For a Reed Diffuser:

11 drops of Coffee
8 drops of Cardamom
4 drop of Clove
4 drop of Ginger
4 drop of Cinnamon Leaf
¼ cup Fractionated Coconut Oil

Put Carrier Oil in a glass container, add Essential Oils, add Reed Diffuser Sticks, and stir.
(Please note: If you're allergic to Coconut or Almond oil, use another Carrier Oil like Sunflower, Rosehip, Grapeseed, or Apricot)
To make a master blend of this recipe, take a 5mL Amber glass bottle add
38 drops of Coffee
25 drops of Cardamom
13 drop of Clove
13 drop of Ginger
13 drop of Cinnamon Leaf
Swirl to mix, and don’t forget to label.

🍊 Orange Cinnamon Rolls 🍊

3 drops Orange Essential Oil
2 drops Cardamom Essential Oil
2 drops Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil

Add essential oils to a diffuser according to the diffuser's instructions, and diffuse in an open room.
For a Reed Diffuser:

13 drops Orange Essential Oil
9 drops Cardamom Essential Oil
9 drops Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil
¼ cup Fractionated Coconut Oil

Put Carrier Oil in a glass container, add Essential Oils, add Reed Diffuser Sticks, and stir.

4 drops Peru Balsam Essential Oil
2 drops Lime Essential Oil
2 drops Copaiba Essential Oil

10 drops Lemon Essential Oil
10 drops Peru Balsam Essential Oil
5 drops Lime Essential Oil

😍 I crafted this Créme Brulée Latte candle w/ shortbread cookie wax melts using the Safer Fragrance Oils & Essential Oils , and you can too!

The bottom layer is Coffee and Peru Balsam.
The coffee beans are just Coffee.
The top layer is Coffee and Créme Brulée. ☕️
The cookies are Créme Brulée and gingerbread.🍪

It smells wonderful enough to eat! 😋
