We are creating a safe, compassionate space for those affected by cancer -patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones. Feel free to bring a friend or support person.
The journey through Cancer is one of the toughest battles anyone can face. It is filled with uncertainty, pain, and moments of deep fear. From the first awkward moment of feeling a lump, first awkward swallow, the first diagnosis, to the endless doctors appointments, treatments, and side effects. It can feel overwhelming, but in the midst of these trials, there’s also resilience, courage, and hope. We see it in the small victories- finishing a round of chemo, a good scan result or simply finding the strength to get out of bed on a rough day. We see it in the caregivers and loved ones who stand by our side and we see it in the support groups, where we remind each other that we are not alone. The cancer world is filled with hardships, but it is also filled with stories of survival, love and unwavering strength. As a group of support, we can face these trials and tribulations and find a way forward.
I am in the process of organizing another cancer support group for those who have been affected by cancer. Whether you are a patient, survivor, caregiver or loved one, this will be a safe space to share experiences, offer support, and find encouragement for others who understand. If you are interested in joining please reach out! You are not alone in this journey and together we can support one another.
