My heart's greatest passion is to do meaningful and life-changing work, helping women to feel strong, healthy, sexy and badass no matter what age they are facing. I want to inspire a positive mindset and a life of adventure, love and meaning to all who cross paths with me. As a teenager and a young adult, I often felt like I wasn't good enough, beautiful enough, accepted by those around me or desi

red in any way. Those feelings of insecurity followed me into my 30s, into motherhood even, until one day I realized I couldn't and wouldn't spend one more minute hiding the woman God had created me to be. I was in my early 40s when I finally broke free from the chains of all of those negative voices and never looked back. Not only was that a gift to me to be able to fully and unapologetically shine my light to the world, but it was an enormous gift to my children as well - to be able to know who their mother truly is and who they truly are as well. No woman should feel inadequate, unlovable, or not good enough. My hope is to help the women I coach fully recognize their talent, beauty, purpose, energy, personality and badassery! God created you for a reason. Shine your authentic and true light proudly! Live a healthy, fit and active life so you CAN be your best self and feel good in all the things you choose to do. It's a mindset shift, and once you figure that out... the rest of your journey towards happiness and good health will be so much easier.

The Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) is a 7-month window for enrolling in Medicare when you first become eligible. It includes:

✔ 3 months before your 65th birthday
✔ The month of your 65th birthday
✔ 3 months after your 65th birthday

Why is Planning Ahead Important?
1️⃣ Avoid Late Penalties – If you don’t enroll in Part B or Part D on time, you may face lifelong penalties.
2️⃣ Ensure Continuous Coverage – Enrolling early helps prevent gaps in health insurance.
3️⃣ More Plan Options – Early planning gives you time to compare Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medigap to find the best fit.
4️⃣ No Delays in Benefits – Signing up before your birthday month ensures coverage starts on time.

📌 Pro Tip: If you’re still working and have employer coverage, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period later. Always double-check your options!

🥛 Protein of the Week: Greek Yogurt & Low‑Fat Dairy
Greek yogurt and other dairy products deliver a strong protein punch and plenty of bone‑strengthening nutrients. Greek yogurt is strained to remove whey, so it can have twice the protein of regular yogurt. One cup of 2 % Greek yogurt provides ~19 g of protein, 150 calories, 5 g fat and 9 g carbs. Dairy foods are also rich in potassium, vitamin B12 and calcium; these nutrients help regulate blood pressure, support nerve and muscle function and keep bones strong.

The National Institute on Aging notes that older adults should choose fat‑free or low‑fat dairy products to keep saturated fat in check while still getting plenty of calcium, potassium and vitamin D.

Quick ideas: Make a breakfast parfait with Greek yogurt, berries and nuts; blend yogurt into smoothies; use plain yogurt as a base for tzatziki or healthy dips.

🐟 Protein of the Week: Fatty Fish (Salmon, Anchovies & Trout)
Seafood is one of the best lean‑protein choices for heart and brain health. The Dietary Guidelines for Americans advise adults to enjoy 8–10 ounces of seafood per week, especially fish high in omega‑3 fats like salmon, anchovies and trout. These oily fish provide high‑quality protein along with EPA and DHA, which support heart rhythm, reduce inflammation and may improve brain function.

What’s in a serving? A 3‑ounce cooked salmon fillet contains roughly 17–20 g of protein and more than 1,000 mg of omega‑3 fats. Anchovies and trout offer similar benefits in smaller portions.

Easy meal ideas:
Baked salmon with lemon and dill;
Anchovies tossed into a spinach salad or blended into a savory dipping sauce;
Grilled trout with herbs and roasted veggies.

What’s your why?

My why is this:

I don’t ever want to feel weak again. I don’t ever want to feel “sick” again. I don’t ever want to feel like a victim to my health or circumstances again.

I DO want to take my previous struggles and use them for good to make a difference in the lives of those who know me and work with me.

I DO want to help others achieve the health and happiness they desire, and not have to worry about whether or not their health insurance covers X, Y, or Z.

I DO want to help others to live a healthy and thriving life! From their physical health all the way to their career, relationships, and creative energy!

I DO want to help others fuel their inner fire and become their best and strongest self! Yes, this can happen at ANY age. You're never too old!

That’s my goal. That’s my passion - helping and inspiring others to find renewed health, to understand their healthcare options, and to experience total happiness in life. ❤️

🥚 Protein of the Week: Eggs!
Remember when eggs were off the table because of cholesterol? We’ve learned a lot since then. Each large egg packs 6 grams of high‑quality protein for only about 70 calories. The protein in eggs is “complete,” meaning it provides all nine essential amino acids your body can’t make on its own. Eggs also supply choline for brain and nerve function, minerals like phosphorus, calcium and potassium, and antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin for eye health. They even offer a small amount of vitamin D - one of the few natural dietary sources.

Although egg yolks contain cholesterol, research shows that saturated and trans fats have a far larger impact on heart health. Eggs contain very little saturated fat and zero trans fat. For most people, eating an egg a day is safe, and the health benefits far outweigh the tiny amount of saturated fat they provide.

🍳 Serving ideas: Enjoy hard‑boiled eggs as a grab‑and‑go snack, scramble eggs with spinach and tomatoes, or top a grain bowl with a poached egg for a quick lunch. Pair eggs with veggies or whole‑grain toast to build a balanced plate.

I always get chills when I read this story! Imagine God having this conversation with you....
Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?”
Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?”
“A staff,” he replied.
The Lord said, “Throw it on the ground.”
Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. Then the Lord said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand. “This,” said the Lord, “is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has appeared to you.”
