Before ➡️ 6 Laser Hair Removal Sessions
Laser hair removal doesn’t target every hair at your appointment.
Our hairs grow in cycles, and only the hairs that are actively growing (the anagen phase) can be treated by the laser. This works because the hair is still attached to the follicle allowing the laser energy to damage it.
Hairs that are not in this active stage are “resting” and are not connected in the same way so they won’t respond to treatment during the session. Those hairs will appear later as they enter their active growth phase which is why multiple treatments are necessary.
Lots of other factors like hormones, genetics, hair thickness, hair colour, treatment consistency, and even the percentage of hairs in the active growth phase on the day of your appointment all influence your progress. Your results are unique to you.
It is so important to stay consistent with your scheduled appointments in order for us to achieve the best results on your hair removal journey 🌞✨
