Everwyld consists of a body art studio (a.k.a. a custom tattoo shop) and three vacation rentals, all located on the same property in Lake Placid. Both businesses are service oriented - taking care of tattoo clients as well as vacationing guests.
As a personal and studio assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to be my right hand. It’s a varied, hands-on role, and the overarching responsibilities include:
• Caring for the rentals and property, including cleaning, staging them to look beautiful, creating customer appreciation offerings, gardening, etc.
• Breaking down and setting up a tattoo station
• Helping with digital and physical administrative tasks such as filing, maintaining portions of the website, blogging, content production, and research
• Assisting with events, from marketing in the lead-up to working the event the day of, including setup and customer service
• Providing support on a variety of projects
• Running errands and helping with the day-to-day things that keep everything moving
With this job comes a lot of opportunity to be hands-on — to learn, grow, contribute, and take ownership of things over time. I’m dedicated to supporting my assistant in their training and development, and helping them build new skills along the way. Hours are part-time to start and daytime only. Must be available weekends.
I’m looking for someone who approaches learning with enthusiasm, enjoys doing all the things—large and small—that it takes to get the job done, pays close attention to detail, and brings a positive attitude to their work.
Starting rate based on experience.
