*What is Kangatraining?*
Kangatraining is a fun, full-body workout designed specifically for postnatal mothers, helping you dance your way back to fitness! Your baby is included throughout the session—during warm-ups, core exercises, and as added resistance in the carrier.
Our workouts focus on pelvic floor strength, core stability, and the safe closure of abdominal separation (DRAM), ensuring a safe and effective return to exercise. Stay active, regain fitness, and connect with other mums in a supportive and welcoming environment.
*When can I start?*
Mothers can start 6-10 weeks postpartum (a bit longer following a caesarean) and should have clearance from their health professional before joining.
*Is my baby too old for the class?*
Babies can participate as long as they weigh no more than 20kg (depending on the carrier you have). As they get older, they often enjoy seeing more of what's happening around them, so wearing them on your back is a great option. During the class, I’ll take some time to discuss babywearing safety and assist you in properly securing your baby in the carrier.
