Because the goal was never to stay restricted forever.

The goal was to heal enough that food stopped feeling scary.

For years, I thought I needed:

* fewer foods
* stricter rules
* more restriction
* more discipline
* more control

But what I actually needed was to heal the inflammation that made my body react to everything.

That started with:

* identifying my root cause
* understanding what inflammation damaged
* getting the right labs
* and creating a healing plan based on MY body

That’s how I lost 100 lbs.

But more importantly?

That’s how I got my life back.

If you want food freedom with Hashimoto’s, you don’t start with another diet.

You start with root cause.

Comment NEXT and I’ll send you details to get started.

This is where everything finally comes together.

And honestly?

This is the step most women with Hashimoto’s never get.

Because they spend years collecting information…

But never actually create a plan.

They know they should:

* heal their gut
* support their thyroid
* reduce inflammation
* balance hormones
* take supplements

But they don’t know:

✔ what to do first
✔ what to do next
✔ what matters most
✔ what’s actually driving their symptoms

So they end up trying everything.

And making very little progress.

That’s why every healing plan I create starts with the first 3 steps:

1️⃣ Root Cause
2️⃣ Thyroid Labs & Optimization
3️⃣ Functional Testing

Because once I have those pieces, I can see the full picture.

I know:

* what triggered the Hashimoto’s
* how the thyroid is functioning
* where inflammation is showing up
* what systems need support
* what damage needs to be repaired

And now we’re no longer guessing.

We’re creating a strategy.

For one person, that healing plan might focus on:

* gut repair
* H. pylori
* thyroid conversion

For another, it might focus on:

* hormone metabolism
* chronic stress
* nutrient deficiencies

For another, it might be:

* blood sugar regulation
* inflammation reduction
* immune support

Same diagnosis.

Completely different healing plans.

Because Hashimoto’s isn’t the root cause.

It’s the result of something deeper.

And that’s why generic protocols fail.

Not because they’re bad.

Because they’re not personalized.

The women who get the best results aren’t the ones taking the most supplements.

They’re the ones following the right plan for THEIR body.

That’s exactly how I lost 100 lbs, put my Hashimoto’s into remission, and it’s the same process I use with every client.

Not guessing.

Not collecting random tips.

A plan.

This is where we stop guessing.

By the time we get here, we already know:

✔ Your likely root cause
✔ What’s happening with your thyroid
✔ Where your symptoms are showing up

Now we need to answer one question:

What’s preventing your body from healing?

Because here’s the truth…

Not every woman with Hashimoto’s needs the same protocol.

Not every woman needs gut healing.

Not every woman needs hormone support.

Not every woman needs the same supplements.

And this is exactly why so many women stay stuck.

They’re following someone else’s healing plan.

Functional testing helps us understand YOUR body.

This is where I may use things like:

✔ GI Map testing
✔ DUTCH hormone testing
✔ Nutrient markers
✔ Additional functional labs

Not because testing is trendy.

Because testing gives us answers.

For example:

A GI Map can tell us:

* if gut infections are present
* if H. pylori is contributing
* if inflammation is occurring
* if digestion is impaired

A DUTCH test can tell us:

* how hormones are being produced
* how hormones are being metabolized
* where stress may be impacting the body

And suddenly the symptoms start making sense.

The fatigue.

The bloating.

The weight loss resistance.

The brain fog.

The anxiety.

The hormone issues.

Instead of throwing supplements at symptoms…

We’re identifying exactly what needs to be healed.

And here’s the most important part:

Testing isn’t Step 1.

I see people all the time spending thousands of dollars on testing before they even understand their root cause or thyroid function.

That’s backwards.

Testing is a tool.

Not a starting point.

We use testing strategically to confirm what’s driving symptoms and identify what inflammation damage needs to be repaired.

Because once we know what’s broken, we know what to fix.

And that’s when healing starts getting a whole lot easier.

Follow along for Part 4 where I’ll show you how I take root cause, thyroid labs, and functional testing and turn it into a personalized healing plan.

And if you’re tired of guessing what your body needs, comment FUNCTIONAL and I’ll show you where to start.

Not just TSH.

Your actual thyroid.

Because one of the biggest lies women with Hashimoto’s are told is:

“Your labs are normal.”

Meanwhile you’re:
* exhausted
* gaining weight
* losing hair
* struggling with brain fog
* freezing all the time
* wondering why your metabolism stopped working

And somehow that’s considered “fine.”

Here’s the problem:

Most doctors are looking at whether you’re sick enough to adjust medication.

I’m looking at whether your thyroid is functioning optimally.

Those are two very different things.

I want to know:
✔ Free T3
✔️ Reverse T3
✔ Free T4
✔ TSH
✔ Thyroid antibodies
✔ Thyroid conversion patterns

Because your thyroid labs tell a story.

For example:

Low T3?

That tells me your body isn’t properly converting thyroid hormone.

And T3 matters.

A lot.

It’s responsible for:
* energy
* metabolism
* hair growth
* brain function
* body temperature
* cellular energy production

So if your T3 is low, it doesn’t matter how hard you’re working.

Your body is literally operating with less fuel.

But here’s where most people get it wrong…

Low T3 isn’t always the problem.

It’s often a clue.

A clue that something else is interfering with thyroid function.

Maybe it’s gut inflammation.

Maybe it’s nutrient deficiencies.

Maybe it’s chronic stress.

Maybe it’s inflammation from your root cause.

This is why Step 1 and Step 2 work together.

Root cause tells us WHY your body is struggling.

Thyroid labs show us HOW it’s affecting your body.

And once we have both?

We can start building a plan that actually makes sense.

Follow along for Part 3 where I’ll explain why functional testing is often the missing piece that helps connect all the dots.

And if you’ve been told your thyroid labs are “normal” but you still feel awful, comment LABS and I’ll show you where to start.

06/10/2026

It’s the step most people skip.

Most women with Hashimoto’s are trying to heal without knowing WHY their body started attacking itself in the first place.

So they end up:
* collecting supplements
* trying random diets
* cutting out foods
* chasing symptoms
* hoping the next thing will finally work

But healing doesn’t start with supplements.
It starts with answers.
Because Hashimoto’s doesn’t just happen.
Something triggered it.

For some women it’s:
* gut dysfunction
* chronic stress
* hormone disruption
* viruses
* mold exposure
* nutrient deficiencies
* a combination of multiple factors

And if we don’t understand what’s driving the inflammation, we’re guessing.

That’s why root cause is step one.

Not because it’s a buzzword.

Because it becomes the foundation for every decision that comes next.

When I know your root cause, I know what questions to ask.

I know what labs to look at.

I know what inflammation damage we’re dealing with.

And I know how to build a healing plan that actually makes sense for YOUR body.

Before I ever talk about supplements…

Before I ever talk about food…

Before I ever talk about protocols…

I start here.

Because if we get this part wrong, the rest of the healing plan can fall apart.

Follow along for Part 2 where I’ll explain why most Hashimoto’s clients have never actually seen the full picture of their thyroid.

And if you’re tired of guessing and want help identifying your root cause, comment READY and I’ll show you where to start.

It has nothing to do with:
•this workout
•or that I’m special - because I’m not

And if you’ve followed my journey at all, you know that I did a lot of things for about 10 years that didn’t help me.

So what changed? My understanding of hashimotos.

Hashimotos is an autoimmune where your body is responding to inflammation from your body attacking your thyroid (and then other healthy tissues). There’s no medication for it but the best way to heal is to understand what is causing the attack (aka root cause) and heal the damage done by the attack and inflammation. That healing isn’t random supplements or cutting out a food or 2. It’s doing specific things to heal a very specific thing. Much like you would do things to heal a broken bone or target a certain type of cancer, hashimotos needs to be healed in a specific way.

So that’s what I did. So instead of taking a million supplements and under eating with AIP, I healed my body according to my root cause and inflammation damage. That’s when I lost the 100 lbs, I stopped struggling with fertility, I got off my thyroid meds, and I was able to live again.

If you’re interested in learning more about what a full healing protocol is for you, please make sure to take my complimentary assessments! Comment ‘2026’ and I’ll shoot you the link. It will help you understand what your healing needs are - instead of being overwhelmed and guessing!

Before? I tried everything.

✔ Eating less✔ Working out more✔ Going gluten-free✔ Going dairy-free✔ AIP✔ Supplements✔ Detoxes✔ Gut protocols✔ Hormone support✔ Counting calories✔ “Boosting” my metabolism

And honestly?
Most of those things weren’t bad.
They just weren’t what my body needed.
That’s the frustrating part about Hashimoto’s.
Most women are doing good things.
They’re just doing them in the wrong order.

Because if your body is:
•attacking your thyroid
•struggling to convert thyroid hormones
•inflamed
•not absorbing nutrients
•dealing with gut dysfunction
•dealing with hormone disruption..another diet isn’t going to fix that. Or a probiotic. Or another fad supplement.

The thing that changed everything for me was understanding WHY my body was struggling in the first place.
I started with root cause.
Then I used testing to see exactly what inflammation had disrupted.
Then I built a healing plan around what MY body needed.
Not a generic protocol.
Not a random supplement stack.
Not someone else’s success story.
My healing plan.

And that’s when everything changed.

My energy came back.
My metabolism came back.
My inflammation came down.
My symptoms improved.
And over time, I lost 100 pounds.

Have I had flares since then? Absolutely.

I’m human.
Life happens.

Hashimoto’s doesn’t magically disappear.

But the difference is that now I know how to listen to my body, understand what’s happening, and respond strategically instead of guessing.

That’s exactly what I help my clients do. And almost 1000 clients have had the same success (and no, my plan isn’t intermittent fasting and bone broth)!

If you’re tired of trying random tips and hoping something works, it’s time to start with the foundation.

Root cause. The right labs. A custom healing protocol based on exactly what you need to heal.

Comment READY if you’re ready to understand what’s driving your Hashimoto’s symptoms and build a healing plan that actually makes sense for YOUR body.

Because healing gets a whole lot easier when you stop guessing.
