Meningococcemia: infection sa dugo (Neisseria meningitidis). Mahimo kini mosangpot sa sepsis, shock, ug kamatayon kung dili dayon matambalan (paspas kaayo ang pag deteriorate).

Mga unang simtomas nga bantayan:
• Kalit nga taas nga hilanat
• Sakit sa ulo
• Pagsuka
• Luya
• Bugnaw nga kamot ug tiil

Mga delikadong timailhan:
• Mga p**a o purpura nga rashes nga dili
mawala kung pindoton
• Lisod pagginhawa
• Kalibog o dili na responsive, seizure
• Grabe nga sakit sa paa o dili na
makalakaw ang bata

Adunay bakuna batok sa meningococcal disease. Og naa ani na mga sintomas, ayaw dugaya, dalha dayon sa ospital. Ang meningococcemia dili parehas sa ordinaryong hilanat. Kini mahimong mo paspas ug grabe sulod lang sa pila ka oras. 🙏

Pag-ila sa presumptive TB sa mga bata nga ubos sa 15 ka tuig: kung ang bata adunay usa o labaw pa sa mosunod nga mga timailhan:

1. Ubo o wheezing sulod sa 2 ka semana o labaw pa, labi na kung wala masabti ang hinungdan ug dili maayo sa antibiotic o bronchodilator nga tambal;

2. Hilanat sulod sa 2 ka semana o labaw pa nga wala masabti ang hinungdan, human ma-exclude ang kasagarang sakit sama sa malaria o pneumonia;

3. Dili masabti nga pagkunhod sa timbang o dili motubo ug tarong (failure to thrive) bisan pa og gihatagan og hustong nutrisyon;

4. Resulta sa chest X-ray nga nagpakita og posibleng TB;

5. Kung adunay close contact sa tawo nga naay TB, ug ang bata nagpakita og:
• kapoy (fatigue),
• dili na kaayo ganahan moduwa,
• moubos ang activity o gana
sa pagkaon sulod sa 2 ka semana
o labaw pa.

Kung naa ni nga mga sintomas, importante nga dalhon dayon ang bata sa health center o doktor para ma-evaluate ug matambalan dayon.
