Happy Medical Coder's Day to my fellow coders! 💚 If Danielle, you know her passion for this work, that it has blessed her family beyond comprehension and that she's even teaching my daughter coding in hopes that she'll join the coding community.

One thing MCDE always encourages students and coders to do is never stop learning. In our educational presentations, we always introduce coders to Coding Clinic because knowing your resources is such an important part of coding success.

Danielle loved spending time with her friends at the AHA Central Office | AHA Coding Clinic booth at a couple weeks ago and connecting with so many amazing professionals! As Daniellealways says, "Coding Clinic to the rescue!"

Seeing HealthCon through a different lens this year was such a unique experience.

Not only did MCDE founder Danielle Bagnell have the opportunity to speak on the Ask the Expert: CDI/RA Panel, but serving on the AAPC Chapter Advisory Board also provided a behind the scenes perspective on the work, collaboration, and dedication that goes into creating these events and supporting our coding community.

It was an incredible experience connecting with so many passionate professionals who care deeply about education and the future of healthcare. Grateful for every conversation, connection, and opportunity to contribute.

Each of these beautiful people are leaders in our field and I feel lucky to know them and be amongst them (you know how I feel about 'luck').

To every person that paused to tell me that MCDE helped them with educational content or that I helped by example, just being me openly, I hope you know you 'filled my cup' and encouraged me to keep going. I hope I'm honoring the God given gifts of time and talents by helping others.

That outcome matters. Not just passing an exam, but actually understanding the material well enough to apply it in the real world.

At MCDE, we are intentional about how we teach risk adjustment, HCC/ICD-10-CM coding, and documentation. This is not memorization or notes in a book. This is clarity, context, and real-world application so you can step into a role and perform.

Yes, you will also be prepared to pass the CRC exam. But more importantly, you will be prepared to make an impact once you do.

If you are currently studying or considering CRC, raise your standard. Passing is not the goal. Competence is.
