When your cat's litter box habits suddenly change, pay attention.

Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) is a term used for conditions affecting a cat's bladder and urethra.

Some signs to look out for include:
➡ Going to the litter box more frequently
➡ Straining or struggling to urinate
➡ Blood in the urine
➡ Crying or showing discomfort when urinating
➡ Urinating outside the litter box
➡ Excessive licking around the urinary area

And here's the important part: if your cat is repeatedly trying to urinate but little or no urine is coming out, this can be an emergency.

Don't wait and see if it gets better.
