A week later and I’m still smiling about this one.

I never take for granted how fortunate I am to have a healthy body that allows me to run, lift, carry, compete, and simply enjoy being active. Fitness isn’t just about performance—it’s about having the energy and ability to fully participate in life.

What makes it even more special is sharing these moments with my husband and amazing friends. The laughs, encouragement, suffering through workouts together, and celebrating the finish line make every challenge worthwhile. ❤️

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that the people you surround yourself with matter. Choose friends who encourage you, challenge you, support your goals, and inspire you to become a better version of yourself.

Grateful for good health, strong bodies, great friendships, and memories made doing what we love. 🏃‍♀️💪

Surround yourself with people who build you up, not hold you back! 💜

This morning, during my run, I listened to a podcast with and Dr. that reminded me why I’m so passionate about nutrition.

One line stayed with me:

“Tomorrow, you’ll wake up different. You look at your eggs, your broccoli, your coffee, and you realize I’m not just eating.”

Every meal is an opportunity.

The protein in your breakfast helps repair and build muscle.
The carbohydrates you eat fuel movement and performance.
The vitamins, minerals, fibre, and phytonutrients in fruits and vegetables support thousands of processes inside your body every single day.

We often think about food in terms of calories.

But food is so much more than energy.

It’s recovery.
It’s adaptation.
It’s health.
It’s performance.
It’s longevity.

Tomorrow, when you sit down to eat, remember: you’re not just feeding yourself for today. You’re helping build the version of you that wakes up tomorrow.

First race with my hubby , then a fun race with ❤️

Lots of running, plenty of suffering, and even more laughs along the way. These are the days that remind me why I love this sport so much—challenging yourself, sharing the experience with great people, and having an absolute blast doing it.

Easy sweet treat to settle those after-dinner cravings

When you’re craving something sweet but still want a nourishing option, these are a winner!

✔️ Medjool dates
✔️ Peanut butter
✔️ Dark chocolate

Simply fill the dates with peanut butter, dip or drizzle with melted dark chocolate, and pop them into the freezer.

They’re sweet, satisfying, and packed with flavour. The combination of natural sweetness, healthy fats, and a little chocolate magic makes them the perfect evening treat.
