Supporting Teachers and Professionals Working with Children

Teacher Wellness Workshops and Debriefing Sessions

Working with children is rewarding, meaningful, and deeply demanding. Every day, educators and professionals balance the academic, emotional, behavioural, and relational needs of those in their care while navigating the complexities of their own lives.

This practical, evidence-informed workshop explores strategies to support professional wellbeing through nervous system regulation, reflective practice, and sustainable wellbeing. Designed for teachers and professionals working with children, the workshop offers practical tools that can be integrated into everyday practice to promote healthy, functional, and intentional living.

During this workshop you'll explore:

• Practical tools to support nervous system regulation.
• Regulation strategies for emotionally and cognitively demanding environments.
• The Wellness Wheel, Holistic Awareness Harmony Wheel, and Self-compassion Awareness Wheel © 2026.
• Practical strategies to sustain centredness, connection, and clarity—even on challenging days.

Because when you are regulated, you are better able to function effectively, respond with intention, and support others more sustainably.

📘 Participants will receive an interactive workbook. Educators who attend and complete the required assessment activity will receive SACE Type 3 CPTD points, submitted by Melissa van Oordt.

📜 This activity has been HPCSA-accredited through the South African Medical Association (SAMA).
