What are my go-to anti-cancer teas? Here's my list! I drink most of these regularly. You can take these if you're on a cancer healing protocol, and also for general health and cancer prevention.
*Essiac Tea*
A traditional blend of herbs created by the Ojibway Indians of Canada, it consists of burdock root, slippery elm, sheep sorrel, and Turkish rhubarb root, used to support detoxification, blood purification, inflammation and immune function, with much evidence for its anti-cancer properties. Also very effective with auto-immune, HIV, viruses and so on.
*Green Tea*
Rich in catechins, particularly EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate), green tea is known for its potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Studies suggest that it may inhibit cancer cell growth and metastasis.
*Turmeric Tea* (Golden Milk or Turmeric Tea)
Contains curcumin, which has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Curcumin has been studied for its potential to inhibit cancer cell growth and reduce tumor size. I make a delicious blend with cardamom, ginger, cinnamon & ashwagandha which makes it even more potent in its anti-cancer properties - and its delicious!
*Milk Thistle Tea*
Research shows that silymarin in milk thistle can promote apoptosis (programmed cell death) in certain types of cancer cells, including breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers, potentially slowing tumor growth. It also supports liver detoxification.
*Artemesia Tea*
Known for its anti-parasitic and anti-malarial properties, artemisinin, the active compound in Artemisia, has also shown promise in cancer research. It is believed to induce apoptosis in cancer cells and inhibit tumor growth. This has a very bitter taste, I add a sprinkle of liquorice root powder and it is delicous!
*Ginger Tea* (who doesn't love ginger!)
Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, ginger tea is believed to have anti-cancer effects by promoting apoptosis (programmed cell death) and inhibiting cancer cell growth.
*Dandelion Tea*
Studies suggest dandelion root extract may induce apoptosis in certain cancer cells and reduce tumor growth, making it a popular tea among alternative cancer treatments. You can make a tea with the roots and the leaves, and you can include leaves & flowers in your salads and stir fries! DANDELIONS ARE MEDICINE NOT WEEDS!!
*Pau d’Arco Tea*
Derived from the bark of a South American tree, this tea is known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and is often used in holistic cancer therapies for its potential to inhibit cancer cells.
*Sutherlandia Tea* (also known as the cancer bush)
A traditional South African herb used in complementary cancer care. It has immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties, helping the body combat cancer cells. Tastes like hell. Literally. Don't drink it as a tea. Just don't. That said, sutherlandia & curcumin taken together have been shown to be MORE EFFECTIVE THAN CERTAIN CHEMOTHERAPIES AT KILLING CANCER STEM CELLS! Just take in supplement form. You'll thank me later.
*Chaga Mushroom Tea*
Chaga is packed with antioxidants and has been studied for its immune-modulating and anti-cancer properties, with research suggesting it may slow tumor growth. I also love reishi & turkey tail. You can add mushroom powder to your hot chocolates - it has a delicious coffee like flavour yum!
*Soursop (Graviola) Tea*
Soursop leaves are believed to have anticancer properties, especially in relation to breast, colon, and prostate cancer, due to compounds called acetogenins. Magical stuff. I drank loads of this when I healed my recurrence naturally in 6 weeks.
*Matcha Tea*
A concentrated form of green tea with higher levels of catechins, matcha offers even stronger antioxidant and anti-cancer benefits compared to regular green tea.
*Rooibos Tea*
Rich in antioxidants like quercetin and aspalathin, rooibos tea may help protect cells from oxidative damage and may inhibit cancer cell growth.
I stock most of these - drop me a message if you'd like to order 🌟
