Funny how a few minutes with the right person can remind you just how far you’ve come.

This morning, at a wonderful Weaver Networking event, I bumped into Mr. Andy du Plessis, MD of FoodForward SA - and suddenly we were reminiscing about the Impumelelo Awards in 2018, where our organisations were both recognised for the work we were doing.

2018! A lifetime ago… and yet it feels like yesterday.

Today, we’re still here. Still building. Still doing the work. Still believing in what is possible.

At TUF, we are proud to be a Beneficiary Organisation (BO) of FoodForward SA and the ongoing role they play in being a pillar of support on our food security journey. The right partners don’t just fund the work - they help make the work possible. Thank you!

And hearing about the good year FFSA is having was a beautiful reminder for me personally: The valleys are real. But they are also temporary.

Seasons change. Doors open. Good things happen. And sometimes, you just need a little reminder of how far you’ve already travelled.

So good to see you again, Andy. That brief catch-up meant more than you probably realised. ❤️
