UBUNTU WORKSHOP
In the words of Mfuniselwa John Bhengu
“It is true that we all talk about Ubuntu, but very few of us have grasped the reality that if Ubuntu is to be our philosophy of life, then we need a theoretical and philosophical framework for it, so that ultimately it can be taught, learnt and practiced. From time immemorial Africans were imbued with the philosophy of Ubuntu which enabled them to be the custodians of the law. Through the colonization of Africa we have lost the essence of this practice.”
We invite the general public to come and join us in a workshop on Ubuntu on Saturday 18th October at the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Centre at no 7 Dunluce Avenue, Claremont from 10am till 4pm. The workshop will unpack the traditional and spiritual aspects of Ubuntu. To register for the workshop individuals need to phone the centre at 021 6719972. Attendance is free.
