Guys, can we please have an honest discussion about what a "narcissist" actually is? 🧐

ā€œNarcissistā€ has become a catch-all. An ex who hurt you, a difficult boss or someone who behaves badly isn’t necessarily a narcissist.

The good news is that you do not need a medical diagnosis to recognise harmful behaviour. Manipulation, control, belittling, gaslighting or emotional abuse are worth taking seriously regardless of what label sits behind them.

And you don't have to diagnose someone to protect yourself. You can set boundaries, leave unhealthy relationships and ask for help without proving that the other person is a narcissist first.

Struggling to remember things? Here are 5 ways to improve your memory šŸ¤”

1. Bring out the puzzles, word games, Pictionary, and brainteasers to challenge your brain – and have a good time while you’re at it. These games can do a lot to enhance your memory and cognitive skills. Try Sudoku, crosswords, or memory card games. Or download brain-training apps for five-minute sessions throughout the day. These activities challenge your mind in a playful way, helping you to think faster and remember more.
2. The hippocampus is the part of the brain that’s associated with memory and it loves it when you exercise. Regular exercise, even simply just moving around, can work wonders for your memory and boost this part of the brain. No time to walk or swim? Set the timer for five minutes and have daily dance breaks.
3. Filling up on brain-boosting foods like fatty fish, blueberries, walnuts, and dark chocolate can help keep your memory sharp. These foods contain good amounts of antioxidants and nutrients that support brain health. So, make snack time brain fuel time.
4. Laughter is the best medicine for good reason. Laughter induces the brain to release feel-good chemicals and stimulates better memory-making. Settle in with some comedies and enjoy the actual laugh out loud moments.
5. Your brain typically finds it easier to remember small bits of information at a time. Whether you’re trying to remember a long shopping list, project notes or even someone’s name, break it down into smaller, manageable chunks. You’ll find it easier to recall later.

Cortisol gets a bad reputation as the ā€œstress hormoneā€. But the problem isn’t cortisol itself. It’s when the body’s stress-response system is repeatedly activated or cortisol regulation becomes disrupted.

So when someone says, ā€œMy cortisol is high,ā€ there’s more to the story than simply being stressed. šŸ¤”

Every woman has a health story. Some are shaped by joy. Others by unanswered questions, years of unexplained symptoms, difficult diagnoses, or learning to advocate for themselves in a healthcare system that doesn’t always listen. The 100 brings together these experiences, insights, and points of view. We asked women: what do you wish more people knew about women’s health?
