The card I drew this morning from the Inner Temple Oracle was The Beauty Way.
How fitting, after the reflections I shared recently around aesthetics, beauty, and the long evolution of my relationship with both.
Venus is a very important placement in my astrological chart. She sits in Ta**us, her home, and also in my ascendant. And so beauty, value, worth, sensuality, coherence, and the sacred feminine have been themes woven deeply through my life.
My journey with beauty has not been linear.
As a child, I genuinely experienced myself as the “ugly duckling,” watching beauty from the outside and observing the ways young women learned to perform and pursue it. Later came the emergence into beauty itself, cautiously learning how to move with that power, how to hold it, how not to become consumed by it.
This then evolved into my years in aesthetic medicine, sitting with thousands of women and asking silently, every day:
What is beauty really?
What does it mean externally?
But more importantly, what does it mean internally?
While I was treating the outer expression, I was simultaneously excavating the inner world. I began to understand that beauty was never merely cosmetic. It was coherence. Alignment. Congruence between the inner and outer self.
When I eventually closed my clinic, it marked a profound threshold in my life.
I committed fully to living more beautifully.
Not more beautifully according to culture, but more beautifully according to truth.
My food changed.
My rituals changed.
My nervous system changed.
My relationship with nature changed.
My hair became wilder and curlier because I stopped forcing it into the standards this culture had taught me were desirable. Even my work in weight loss, although always spiritually and integratively led, revealed the same principle:
When the inner world comes into coherence, the body often follows.
Not according to a beauty standard.
But according to soul alignment.
And this is why the concept of The Beauty Way feels so deeply connected to the work I now do around feminine leadership.
When I speak of feminine leadership, I am not speaking only about women leading.
I am speaking about the return of a form of consciousness that was intentionally suppressed for thousands of years.
The systems we inherited, educational, governmental, organisational, colonial, economic, were largely built through patriarchal architecture. Systems designed around extraction, control, productivity, domination, and separation.
But the feminine builds differently.
The feminine asks:
Is it coherent?
Is it alive?
Is it beautiful?
Does it honour relationship?
Does it nourish life?
Does it consider the sacred?
The Beauty Way is not superficial.
It is foundational.
It is about designing systems, organisations, families, communities, and businesses that restore coherence between humanity and life itself.
And I feel so strongly that the women gathered in this field feel that call too.
Some of you are leading from your homes.
Some through art.
Some through gardens.
Some through healing spaces.
And some within major corporations and systems.
But all of you are being asked to remember that beauty is not decoration.
Beauty is intelligence.
Beauty is integrity.
Beauty is coherence made visible.
And perhaps this Ta**us new moon, holding themes of worth, value, embodiment, beauty, earth, and sacred structure, is asking us all to recommit to building lives, leadership, and systems that honour that truth.
Sending blessings to all for this magnificent new moon and the lunar cycle ahead.
