🦷 Advancing Patient Care Through Innovation and Education.

A sincere thank you to dentists and Allied Healthcare professionals from the surrounding area who joined us for this insightful CPD-accredited event.

Maxillo-Facial & Oral Surgeon, Dr Johnny de Lange, and Stuart Blackbeard, Head of Department, Sales & Engineering, Southern Implants, presented on modern implant workflows and provided insight into the latest industry standards.

The educational seminar focused on guided surgery and immediate loading, which utilise 3D digital planning to safely place dental implants and attach functional teeth on the exact same day. Additionally, attendees gained insight into optimising implants and abutments, teaching them how to select the best connector pieces to promote natural gum healing and superior aesthetic results for their patients.

We appreciate the strong attendance, rich discussions and the continued support from the dental community. We are proud to be associated with such a strong team.

Meet Dr André van Straten

ENT Specialist (Otorhinolaryngologist) | Advanced Durbanville

We are pleased to introduce Dr André van Straten, an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist dedicated to providing patient-centred care to both adults and children.

Dr Van Straten obtained his MBChB from the University of Pretoria and later earned his Fellowship of the College of Otorhinolaryngology (FCORL) through Stellenbosch University. Having practised in the Northern Suburbs since 2020, he brings extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ENT conditions.

His special interests include:
🔹 Paediatric ENT
🔹 Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)
🔹Hearing restoration surgery, including cochlear implantation and bone cunductive hearing implants
🔹 General Ear, Nose and Throat care
