Still sleeping… because why rush Christmas when you’re busy surviving Durban’s heat, marinating like festive rotisserie chickens and bravely enduring each other’s lethal farts 🤣🤣

Presents can wait. Priorities are:
✔️ Survive the heat
✔️ Pray for a good fishing tide 🎣
✔️ Recharge warrior strength

We’ve survived a lot, fought hard, and now we’re — healthy, clever, and smashing school like the academic queens we are 👑📚
Proof that tough little twins grow into unstoppable legends.

To Our Warrior Girls on your 12th Birthday...

You came into this world — too early, too small.

I should’ve held you in my arms… but instead, I stood by your incubators,
whispering prayers through tears.

I left the hospital without you.
And nothing can ever describe what it feels like to walk away from your babies,
not knowing if you’ll ever hold them outside of wires and walls.

You fought from your very first breath.
Heart surgeries before your first smiles.
Tracheostomies before your first giggles.
You fought — not just to live — but to THRIVE.

And when we thought the worst was behind us,
Nikita diagnosed with cancer at just five years old.
I watched your tiny body endure what would break most adults…
and you still found a way to smile my Sunshine.

Even now, Trinity still goes into surgery after surgery to keep breathing —
and yet, you never let it stop you my Moonshine.
You run, you play, you dream… FEARLESS.
You do everything your peers do — and then some.
You carry your battles like wings, not burdens.

But what truly breaks me open… is how kind you BOTH are.
How humble. How deeply you feel for others.
After everything — you love without hesitation.
You see people in pain and you reach for them with your whole heart.

You are miracles.
Living proof that our Creator hears prayers, whispered through tears.
That hope is real.
That LOVE — the kind that fights, breaks, heals, and survives — is the most powerful force there is.

Happy birthday, WARRIORS.
We are endlessly proud of you.
You are the reason we believe in everything good.
And we will never, ever stop thanking our Creator for your lives.

Today our warrior went for another scheduled balloon dilatation with her surgeon at . As always he is happy with her progress. We are scheduled for another session in 3 months. We trust in our Creator's timing for when her stoma will be closed but for the time being, being trachie-free is stil positive and onward. Trinity is safe and sound and HEALTHY at home. Thank you for continuing to keep our warriors in prayer. Be still my heart, for you have nurtured two strong ladies that has so much willpower and determination running through their veins...
Nikita and Trinity....a blessing to us all... Indeed a representation of faith and resilience with the hearts' of warriors...

Happy and Blessed.....its been a minute...

We have been quiet....but there has been so many developments....our Warrior Twins - Nikita & Trinity enjoyed their festive break in Dullstroom *no electricity 🤭😉but it did us so well as a family...then a getaway to Crystal Springs Mountain Resort and a visit to God's Window in the new year....and mommy turning 40🤭🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️😉....Nikita had her yearly checkup and the all clear from her oncologist to only see her again in 2025👏👏❤....Trinity has had another balloon dilatation in January and unfortunately she had to be hospitalized in the last few days for an infection in her airway and was discharged today...we do stil have to put in her trachie every night until infection clears but she has the all clear of the doctor..... she is still her witty self as nothing stands in her way and is expecting a full body massage as part of her recovery at Kai Tai Spa 🙆🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😝....this year we decided to not post as much as the girls have gotten to the stage of saying what I can and cannot post...which I respect...as they are growing older and more private❤so here is a few pictures of what they have been up to and to request that you continue to keep them in your prayer....as always... love and light and remember
