Am I a feminist?
HECK, YES!
Unashamedly and proudly so.

In a world dominated by men there are huge disparities regarding social, political and economic equality pertaining to women’s rights.

In essence, it really begins with us as parents to instil the principle of gender equality in both our girls AND boys.
This means encouraging dialogue and dispelling stereotypical ideas in a society where women are still very much undermined across all spheres.
This book by Nigerian activist should be compulsory reading.
