[WATCH] No amount of alcohol is safe during pregnancy. Alcohol exposure in the womb can cause Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), a lifelong condition that may result in learning difficulties, developmental delays, behavioural challenges, and physical abnormalities. FASD has no cure, but it is 100% preventable. Keep your pregnancy alcohol-free. Protect your baby's future.

You are encouraged to visit your nearest clinic as the first step to access healthcare. The clinic will then refer you to the hospital if you require specialised medical care that cannot be provided at the clinic. When visiting the hospital, you will be required to produce a referral letter from the clinic. Patients with surgical and medical emergencies will be assisted without referral letters. Those who are not emergencies should begin at the clinic.

Let us learn about how our casualty operates. Arriving first does not mean that you will be attended to first. Our nurses first assess who has serious injuries or who is critically ill and whose life may be at risk. We understand that you may also be experiencing pain that only you can feel, but doctors and nurses understand the importance of prioritising patients according to their condition. Let us not lose hope; instead, let us be patient until we receive the help we need. One way to reduce the time you spend at the hospital is to only visit the casualty department when you need urgent medical attention. For other health concerns, please visit our nearest clinics for assistance.
