So… what actually is a Japanese-inspired Head Spa? 🌿

Head Spa is still a relatively new experience for many people, so if you've seen our treatments and wondered “But what actually happens?” — this one's for you.

A Head Spa brings together intentional scalp and hair care with massage, cleansing, water therapy and relaxation, creating an experience that focuses on something we often overlook: the scalp underneath our hair.

At L’Amai, your experience begins with a professional scalp analysis before moving into your personalised Head Spa ritual.
We've put together this simple guide to explain what a Head Spa is, what you can expect during your visit, and what makes the experience different from an ordinary salon wash.

🇿🇦 Happy Heritage Day, South Africa.

Today, we celebrate the beautiful diversity of our country — the cultures, traditions, stories and people that make South Africa home.

At L’Amai, we believe there is something beautiful about honouring where we come from, celebrating what makes us unique, and finding connection in the things that bring us together.

Different roots. A shared tomorrow. 🤎

Wishing our L’Amai community a beautiful and meaningful Heritage Day.

With love,
L’Amai 🌿

When was the last time you really thought about your scalp? 🌿

We put so much thought into the products we use on our hair, but the scalp underneath it is often overlooked.

Oil and product buildup, dryness, flaking, sensitivity and irritation are all reasons to take a closer look at your scalp and its individual needs.

That's why at L’Amai, our Head Spa experience begins with a scalp analysis. It allows us to better understand what we're seeing before moving into your Head Spa ritual and intentional scalp and hair care.

Sometimes, your scalp simply deserves a little more attention. 🤍

Welcome to L’Amai. 🪷

Life can be busy. We spend so much of our time looking after everything and everyone else that we can forget to make space for ourselves.

At L’Amai, we believe wellness begins with creating that space.

Our Japanese-inspired Head Spa brings together intentional scalp and hair care, soothing rituals and a calming environment — giving you an opportunity to slow down, breathe and reconnect.

A little time to pause.
A little time to breathe.
A little time that’s just for you.

Because sometimes, you don't need to do more.

You simply need to pause. 🌿
