Whether you're a busy parent, a working professional, a student, or someone who becomes unwell after traditional consulting rooms have closed, NiteMed will be here for you.

Opening soon, we'll provide trusted, compassionate healthcare every evening from 5pm to 9pm, seven days a week, including public holidays, because peace of mind shouldn't have to wait until morning.

Value Health Medical supports the national campaign launched by
The South African Depression and Anxiety Group
(SADAG) during Teen Su***de Prevention Week (8-14 February).

Teen su***de remains a serious public health concern in South Africa. Research shows:

▪ Nearly 1 in 5 high school learners have attempted su***de at least once.
▪ Around 24% of youth (Grades 8–11) report prolonged feelings of depression and hopelessness.

Behind these statistics are real young people who often say they do not feel heard.

This year’s theme, “We Hear You – Silalele”, is a call to parents, caregivers, teachers and friends to:

✔️ Listen without judgement
✔️ Create safe spaces for open conversation
✔️ Avoid dismissing emotional pain
✔️ Ask open-ended questions
✔️ Notice changes in behaviour such as withdrawal, irritability, declining school performance or expressions of hopelessness

Teens often do not need immediate solutions — they need calm, empathetic listening.

We encourage families to treat mental health with the same seriousness as physical health. Undiagnosed or untreated depression is a leading contributor to teen su***de, and early intervention can save lives.

If you are concerned about a teen:

• Consult your GP
• Encourage them to speak to a trusted adult or school counsellor
• Contact SADAG’s 24-hour Su***de Crisis Helpline: 0800 567 567
• SMS 31393 for a counsellor call-back

🩺 As proud Durban medical centre, we couldn't be more thrilled to witness the surgical precision with which our boys conquered the Rugby World Cup! They truly left their opponents feeling "bedside mannered"! 💪💉

🌍🏉 Today, we celebrate not just a victory for South Africa, but a triumph for unity and determination. Our Springboks have shown the world what it means to work as a team and leave no injury untreated. 🌍💚💛

We may have been quite, but we’ve been busy behind the scenes with our dynamic team, establishing a medical centre of excellence.

We have since occupied 5 spaces on Level 1 Centre to incorporate various healthcare providers under one roof making it convenient for our patients.
