Our Coloplast South Africa team drove a nationwide educational roadshow, bringing vital convexity training to healthcare professionals across Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Bloemfontein, and Cape Town.
The objective was clear: See Convexity, Feel Convexity, and Adopt Convexity. Over five weeks, the initiative reached more than 350 key nurses and customers. It focused on the fundamentals of convexity and dispelled common myths surrounding its use.
The response to the workshops was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees, whose levels of ostomy care experience varied considerably, consistently expressed that they had gained more knowledge and practical insights than anticipated. Many described the sessions as an “eye-opener,” helping them recognize new ways to improve patient outcomes.
