ell researched theory and hands-on tools allows you to address problems such as recurring conflicts, destructive cycles of communication, disconnection and mistrust. Many a time, and not only after an affair, (albeit sexual or emotional) trust is broken, and the IMAGO tools learnt at MARRIAGEMAX can aid you in rebuilding trust and strengthening your connection. It will also help you to continue growing and healing together. IMAGO relationship therapy is a process developed by Harville Hendrix and Helen Hunt to create safe, conscious relationships where passion can be nurtured and conflicts resolved. This enables the couple to explore their problems from a new perspective, providing “neutral territory” and to put aside “baggage” which prevents the couple from moving on. The therapy process can let couples decide to either rebuild their relationship and make a new commitment, or to clarify the reasons why they need to separate or end the relationship. Conscious uncoupling (developed by Kathrine Woodward Thomas) is also offered to couples who divorce. MARRIAGEMAX offers you weekly relationship counselling sessions with Susan Eksteen, where both parties work together from the first session and where work on the issues that are important to couple is done. Weekend WORKSHOPS are also presented where body, mind and soul as well as your relationship can be nurtured and enriched. This happens in a friendly and safe environment where you as a couple can become more aware and conscious of the agenda of your adult relationship. WORKSHOPS offers safety, fun, practical skills, privacy and confidentiality whilst working face to face with your partner. You will take away many tools that will enable you as a couple to turn conflict into connection.
