Course Information

First Aid Awareness is an introduction to the practical application of First Aid. Most people in South Africa do not have a working knowledge on First Aid and with this workshop we aim to enlighten candidates to what First Aid is all about.

To obtain a valid First Aid Certificate the First Aid Level 1 course needs to be completed. If the group has attended the First Aid Awareness Workshop a special course can be arranged to help them complete the necessary requirements to obtain a valid First Aid Level 1 Certificate.

Course Content:

What is First Aid
Emergency Scene Management
Assessing the Emergency Situation
History, Signs & Symptoms
CPR
Choking / Blocked Airway
Common Injuries and their Treatment
Duration:
½ day to full day (depending on the group)

Award:
First Aid Training SA Certificate
Digital certificate.
Issued within 10 working days from successful completion of training.

Cost:
R500 per person

This course is only presented for organisations with groups of 10 or more people.
