Good Morning to everyone.
Just a little background on our story. My Youngest son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 2 years ago on the 20th Of June 2022.His father is also diabetic so we knew there is a chance he could become diabetic one day.It came as a shock regardless.

We tested his sugar because he was unnaturally thirsty and very frustrated his sugar level was 33.5, we rushed him to casualty and they sent him home to drink water, No insulin was given casualty.

My husband and I where both on edge because we where so worried about him.
On the 20th we went to the government hospital where they diagnosed him and insulin was given as well as a test machine and strips.

He was terrified of needles, but that quickly disappeared because he had to test and inject 4 times a day.He quickly adapted to testing his sugar and injecting his insulin.

This however is no walk in the park for any child.I'm so proud of the warrior he has become.

We have visited the hospital monthly for some time due to unstable sugar levels but this year and mainly the past 2 months we finally got his levels to be normal.A big milestone for us.

He is more active now and is enjoying life like any other child.
