Movement is often the first step to learning. 💙
Before we expect children to sit, focus, write, cut, or complete table-top tasks, their nervous system needs to be ready.
In this session, we’re warming up by using a combination of:
🌀 Vestibular input (movement)
💪 Proprioceptive input (heavy work)
✋ Tactile input (touch)
These sensory experiences help prepare the body for:
✔️ Focus and attention
✔️ Learning readiness
✔️ Readiness for Core strength, Postural control and Fine motor exercises that are a large part of our sessions
✔️ Successful participation in table-top activities
For many children, movement is not a reward after work is done—it is the foundation that makes learning possible.
