Healthcare doesn’t begin with treatment. It begins with responsibility. 🧼

This 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 is a reminder that the simplest actions often carry the greatest impact. Clean hands are more than a habit. They are a 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 against the spread of infection, protecting patients, families, and entire communities every single day.

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, especially before eating, after using the bathroom, and after contact with shared surfaces. When washing isn’t possible, use a sanitiser. And most importantly, be mindful of how often we touch our faces without realising it. These small, consistent actions help protect the young, the elderly, and those most vulnerable in our communities.

There is something nostalgic about a 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗽𝗶𝘁. The digging, the building, the messy hands and loud laughter. For many of us, that is what childhood looked like. And it is what childhood should look like. Sand supports creativity, movement and development. The concern however begins when sandpits are 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 or 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱.
