What is the difference between hydrating and moisturising? Here’s why you need a hydration cream/serum and moisturiser:

HYDRATION
Hydration involves using humectants (a Humectant is a substance used to keep skin moist) Humectants bind to water molecules & increases the water contents of your skin

MOISTURISING
Moisturising involves using skin occlusives (occlusives lock in moisture) moisturisers have a thick consistency. They work by sealing in hydration, keeping water from evaporating.
