Boss Girl!!
I opened my first hair salon 7 years ago.
Started out doing hair mobile, going to my clients homes and performing hair services at the convenience of their homes.
Very soon I got busier and as the demand for my hair services grew, I had to start working from an allocated premises, where clients would come to me and prevent any wasted time travelling back and forth.
I loved it even more, creating and working with hair and having my own salon from home where I could also spend time with my son present inthe same surroundings all the time. He was 4 at the time.
However, my heart yearned for more and I wanted to grow. I wanted more. But the question was how...
This resulted in buying a house and grow my hair salon even further.
With hard work and endless determination I opened my first “big” salon in Garsfontein on the 3rd of February 2018.
Here I am, weeks away from my salons 4th anniversary, still at our permanent premises... no more moving and continuously growing from strength to strength!! There have been ups and downs during this period, lessons learned, blessings received, immense guidance from so much and so many and constant required strength on a daily basis.
Opening a bigger hair salon, whilst being a mom, a wife and buying a house at the age of 25 was the craziest but one of the most exhilarating Rollercoaster rides I’ve ever been on!!
I am blessed to still be here and to continuously have an overwhelming passion and love for hair as well as my business!!
I have many plans for the year to come and I’m so excited for what lies ahead for me and for my business!!
I would like to thank my family, without whom I definitely would not have been where I am today. For the love, guidance, support and trust they provided as I’m sure they’ve had many sleepless nights!
To all of my loyal and wonderful clients who supported me throughout everything, up, down, good & bad days!!! Thank you for your continuous support of my life-long dream and my business!!
Now let’s see what 2021 has in stall for us!!
