Dear Diary,

Today, I did not think through the full cycle of my actions.

I followed the moment,
followed the feeling,
and somehow found myself
right back where I began—

broken,
bruised,
and burnt.

A painful reminder
that healing is not always a straight line,
and sometimes,
we walk willingly back into the fire
we prayed so hard to escape.

But here I am.

Not finished.
Not destroyed.

Just gathering the pieces,
learning from the ashes,
and preparing—

to build again.

Perhaps this time,
I will not only admire the beauty of the fire,
but remember
why I walked away from it.

Tomorrow, I begin again.
