POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Tinna Medical Centre is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resource and Administration Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hospitalā€™s human resource and administrative functions and supporting the smooth day-to-day management of staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ā€¢ Managing staff recruitment, selection, interviews and
onboarding
ā€¢ Preparing employment contracts, appointment letters and job
descriptions
ā€¢ Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
ā€¢ Managing staff attendance, leave, absenteeism and time
records
ā€¢ Coordinating staff duty rosters with departmental heads
ā€¢ Preparing and checking monthly payroll information in
collaboration with the Finance Department
ā€¢ Coordinating staff performance appraisals, probation reviews
and training
ā€¢ Handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters and
workplace conflicts
ā€¢ Developing and implementing human resource policies and
procedures
ā€¢ Monitoring professional registrations and practising licences for
clinical staff
ā€¢ Ensuring compliance with Zambian labour laws and other
employment requirements
ā€¢ Preparing regular human resource reports for Management
ā€¢ Assisting with the general administration of the hospital

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have:
ā€¢ A bachelorā€™s degree in Human Resource Management,
Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field
ā€¢ At least three years of practical experience in human resource
management
ā€¢ At least one year of experience in a supervisory, senior HR or
HR generalist position
ā€¢ Valid registration and a current practising certificate from the
Zambia
Institute of Human Resource Management
ā€¢ Good knowledge of Zambian labour laws and employment
procedures
ā€¢ Practical experience in recruitment, payroll preparation, leave
administration, employee relations and performance
management
ā€¢ Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel or WPS
Office
ā€¢ Strong communication, organisational, problem-solving and
interpersonal skills
ā€¢ The ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Previous experience working in a hospital, clinic or other
healthcare facility will be an added advantage.

Tinna Medical Centre is a growing, patient-focused healthcare institution committed to delivering high-quality medical services with professionalism, compassion, and accountability. We are seeking an experienced and confident Accountant to strengthen our finance department and support the hospitalā€™s continued growth.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong ZRA audit and compliance experience and a solid background in regulated financial environments, preferably healthcare.

šŸ“ Location: Plot 122, Kwacha Road, Buchi, Kitwe.

Key Responsibilities:
ā€¢ā  ā Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, reconciliations, payroll, and petty cash
ā€¢ā  ā Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
ā€¢ā  ā Manage full tax compliance with ZRA (VAT, PAYE, corporate filings)
ā€¢ā  ā Represent the hospital during ZRA audits and inspections
ā€¢ā  ā Support internal and external audits
ā€¢ā  ā Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
ā€¢ā  ā Monitor cash flow, invoices, and receivables
ā€¢ā  ā Ensure compliance with NHIMA and statutory requirements
ā€¢ā  ā Implement strong financial controls and safeguard assets
ā€¢ā  ā Provide financial analysis and reporting to management
ā€¢ā  ā Support operational staff with financial procedures

Required Qualifications
ā€¢ā  ā Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ā€¢ā  ā Professional qualification: ZICA (CA Zambia) preferred; ACCA/CIMA accepted
ā€¢ā  ā Minimum 3ā€“5 years accounting experience
ā€¢ā  ā Proven experience handling ZRA audits and tax compliance
ā€¢ā  ā Strong knowledge of Zambian financial regulations
ā€¢ā  ā Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel, QuickBooks, Sage or similar)
ā€¢ā  ā Advanced Excel skills
ā€¢ā  ā High ethical standards and attention to detail
ā€¢ā  ā Strong communication and professional confidence

Preferred Experience
ā€¢ā  ā Healthcare or hospital accounting experience
ā€¢ā  ā NHIMA billing and claims management
ā€¢ā  ā Internal audit processes
ā€¢ā  ā Ability to work independently under pressure
