⚽ KHI Welcomes Grassroot Soccer to Rise and Shine!

We are excited to welcome Grassroot Soccer to Rise and Shine Sports Academy! 🎉

During the school holidays, the girls will take part in 7 sessions, each lasting 30 minutes, at the football grounds. Through football sessions, the program will support the girls in building life skills, health knowledge, confidence, and positive decision-making.

This collaboration is an exciting addition to the Maluba Programme, helping create opportunities for girls to play, learn, grow, and thrive. ❤️⚽

KHI Meets Crowdfunding Target to Kick-Start the Maluba Program at Rise and Shine Sports Academy

Kambo Health Initiative (KHI) is pleased to announce that it has successfully met its crowdfunding target to kick-start the implementation of the Maluba Programme.

The funds raised will support the initial implementation of Maluba activities with adolescents and young people, particularly those participating in sports. The programme seeks to promote health, Education, life skills and positive youth development while helping young people build confidence, competence, character, connection and caring.

Reaching this target is an important milestone for KHI and reflects the power of community support and collective action. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed, shared the campaign, encouraged others to give and believed in the vision of Maluba.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that donated: from family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.

With the first target met, KHI is now ready to move from fundraising to implementation and impact.

Together, we are investing in young people and creating opportunities for them to flourish.

KHI signs MOU with Rise & Shine Sports Academy to Implement the Maluba Program

Kambo Health Initiative (KHI) has signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rise and Shine Sports Academy to formalise collaboration in the implementation of the Maluba Program.
The partnership aims to support adolescents and young people, particularly those participating in sports, through programmes that promote health, life skills, personal development and positive youth development. The Maluba Program is guided by the principles of life skills development, The Dreams Project, and the 5 Cs of youth development: competence, confidence, connection, character and caring.
Prior to signing the MOU, KHI and Rise and Shine had already collaborated on activities aligned with the objectives of the Maluba Program. The MOU now provides a formal framework for strengthening and expanding this collaboration.
The partnership represents an important step towards creating opportunities for young people to thrive through an integrated approach that connects health, sports, life skills and personal development.
KHI looks forward to working with Rise and Shine Sports Academy to deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes for adolescents and young people through the Maluba Program
