Farewell To The Corporate World
Today, I close a significant chapter of my life.
Having set a personal goal to exit the corporate world (official contractual work) at 35, I now stand just two months away from that moment-something I foresaw and trusted God to bring to pass.
The corporate world has been more than just a workplace. It has been a classroom, a testing ground, and a platform that shaped my discipline, resilience, and perspective. It taught me how to navigate pressure, lead with intention, and deliver results even when the odds were uncertain.
Over the past 13 years since leaving college and passed through two Universities, I have been privileged to both serve under leadership and lead others-across private companies, Non-Governmental Organizations, Faith-Based Organizations, and multinational corporations. These experiences have sharpened my understanding of organizational behavior and strengthened my foundation in leadership.
I leave with deep gratitude—for the lessons, the growth, the relationships, and even the challenges that refined me. From a local boy at the start of my journey to a global leader as I exit the corporate space, this can only be God.
My sincere appreciation goes to colleagues and institutions we worked with directly and indirectly: the Ministry of Health of Zambia, Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia, Zambia Medical Association Zambia Paediatric Association Newborn Support Zambia, Society of Anaesthesia of Zambia,Surgical Society of Zambia, Zambia Medical Association, Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority Regulatory Authority, Churches Health Association of Zambia, and the distributors I collaborated with while serving multinational pharmaceutical manufacturers such as Cipla, PharmaStrategies, LLC (Novartis /Sandoz),and Ethypharm.
But as one chapter ends, another begins.
I now step into a new season—driven by purpose, service, and a deeper commitment to impact lives beyond boardrooms and office walls. The journey ahead is uncertain, but I embrace it with courage, clarity, and conviction.
Mentors, colleagues, and friends, I am pleased to officially share that I will be seeking public office as Member of Parliament for Munali Constituency in Lusaka, Zambia. This step is driven by my passion to serve our communities and nation as a lawmaker and policy implementer. The conversations from boardrooms to the streets will guide my voice in the National Assembly—your voices will always be heard.
I also remain available to support pharmaceutical and healthcare work from a consulting front—particularly in business development, market access, regulatory compliance, policy analysis, research, and innovation—while mentoring the next generation of leaders across the world.
