At Level 1 hospital in Matero this afternoon found over 100 patients who arrived there from about 7am and not yet been attended to.
When l went inside the Admission inquiries section, found only 1 Doctor on duty, 2 Nurses and 6 Volunteer nurses struggling with a lot of patients that found themselves inside the ward. I felt sorry for the clearly overwelmed medical staff that can’t do much with that number of patients to deal with.
Meanwhile they’re busy boasting that things are better for Zambians 🤷♂️
These people of Matero and Lusaka city you’re denying services now will also deny you services on the 12th of August if you don’t improve on Doctors and Nurses on duty at any point in time🤔
Good Health care is a universal right for every citizen in Zambia.
