✨ From Pain to Progress ✨
Watch Lulu’s Journey and Hear Her Experience

Lulu – a Masters student in Public Health and baker navigating a busy, active lifestyle.

Ongoing lower back pain began to take a toll on her day-to-day life — making studying uncomfortable and standing for long periods while baking increasingly difficult.

After working with Nadia, our Exercise and Rehabilitation Therapist, Lulu has made great progress in restoring her movement and returning to her routine with less pain and more confidence.

Nadia graduated with First Class Honours from Loughborough University (UK) and has experience across both clinical and sports environments.

She takes a patient-focused approach, using evidence-based practice to assess movement, restore function, and build personalised rehab programmes. Through a combination of exercise therapy and manual techniques, she works to reduce pain and improve quality of life. Nadia is also qualified in dry cupping therapy and kinesiology taping.

She has experience in musculoskeletal issues, including post-operative and chronic conditions, as well as sports injuries.

The Clinic is located at Fallsway Arena, on Kelvin Siwale Road-Lusaka.

What is Degenerative Disc Disease?
Degenerative Disc Disease is a condition where the intervertebral discs, which act as cushions between the bones of your spine, begin to wear down over time.

Symptoms:
• Chronic back or neck pain
• Discomfort that worsens with activity and improves with rest
• Numbness or tingling in limbs
• Weakness in extremities

How Interferential Therapy (IFT) Can Help

What is IFT?
Interferential Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-frequency electrical currents to stimulate nerves and muscles.

How does it work?
• Electrodes are placed on the skin near the painful area
• Interfering electrical currents are generated, which pe*****te deep into tissues
• This stimulation helps to reduce inflammation, reduce pain, improve nerve sensation, reduce muscles spams, activates muscles, and improve blood flow
