WHY BABIES SHOULDN'T BE KISSED

As adorable as babies are, kissing them especially on the face, lips or hands can be dangerous. Newborns and young babies have very weak immune system which means germs that are harmless to adults can cause serious illness to them.

Common viruses like cold sores(herpes), flu, RSV(respiratory syncytial virus) and even simple colds can be passed through kissess. What feels like love to an adult can quickly turn into fever, breathing problems, hospital admission or worse for a baby.
‎ Babies explore the world with their hands and mouth, so kissing their hands or face increases the risk of infection. Even if you feel healthy, you can still carry germs without knowing.

‎* Wash your hands before touching a baby
‎* Avoid kissing bsbies especially on their hands and face

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses powerful magnets and radio waves, not radiation, to produce highly detailed images of soft tissues. It is especially useful for examining the brain, spinal cord, muscles, ligaments, joints, and internal organs. Doctors often rely on MRI for neurological conditions, sports injuries, and soft-tissue problems.

Don’t Ignore Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding ⚠️
If you’re experiencing unusually heavy periods, bleeding between cycles, bleeding after s*x, or periods lasting longer than normal, this could be Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB).
AUB is common, but it’s not something to brush off — it can be linked to hormonal changes, fibroids, polyps, infections, or other conditions that need medical attention.

✨ Why Pregnant Women Should Avoid Lying on Their Backs — And Which Positions ARE Safe ✨

Did you know that after about 20 weeks of pregnancy, lying flat on your back can actually be uncomfortable and unsafe for both mom and baby? This is because the weight of your growing uterus can press on a major blood vessel called the vena cava, which may lead to something known as Supine Hypotensive Syndrome.

🩺 What is Supine Hypotensive Syndrome?
It’s when lying on your back lowers your blood pressure due to reduced blood flow. This can cause dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath, or feeling faint — and it can also reduce oxygen flow to the baby, even if you don’t feel any symptoms.

So what position is safer and more comfortable?

Sleeping on your side — especially your left side — is recommended.
This position helps keep blood flowing freely to the placenta, supports healthy kidney function, and reduces swelling in your legs and feet.

If staying on your side is tough:
✔ Place a pillow between your knees
✔ Add a small pillow behind your back to prevent rolling
✔ Use a pregnancy pillow for extra support

And don’t stress if you wake up on your back — just gently roll to your side again. 😊
